Listen this was the best food I have ever tasted. So much flavor and so well done. I have had pho all around the states and this one was special. They trimmed the fat from the beef, it was solid! I can't tell you enough that this place is a must try. We visited U district's location and Molly was our service. She was polite, patient, and knew exactly what to recommend. I decided to order two drinks. The names can be found below. One was toasted coconut, and the other was dill infused. Yes dill, like pickle. Lol. It was surprisingly refreshing, I would definitely recommend as a morning/afternoon refresher, but that toasted coconut? Oh I'm definitely coming back for that. I'm convinced you cant go wrong with whatever you chose to eat or drink here! What I ate: Spinach Tofu Paper Wrap: I loved this and I am a meat eater and I'm floored by the flavor. Pho Tái Lan: no words just tears lol. Delicious Drinks: Effective Immediately: and it definitely was that! Toasted coconut rum, sennza finne summer amaro, cinnamon, vanilla bean and eucalyptus 😍 Garden Shed: adequately named lol. Dill-infused aquavit, aloe, bell pepper syrup, lemon, and a pinch of salt. Nice place. The food- Here's the thing, I like a lot of hoison and sriracha in my pho. The amount the give you is not enough. Even when I asked for more, I was given about the amount of a little under half a tablespoon. I wasn't even given any originally and had to ask for it. Yet my partners pho was served with it. The pho wasn't very flavourful. The noodles were all hard packed together in the bottom of the dish, which made them hard to eat. They also put cutup pieces of fried wrapping papers in the soup- not a great texture or taste. Their friend veggie wrapps with soya, sooo good! My partner had the rare steak oho and seemed to enjoy his more than I did mine. However, we both agreed we have had better pho. The service- We ordered tea. It wasn't till we were getting our cheque that we were asked if we wanted more hot water. They do not leave a pot of hot water at the table. The tea was AMAZING in flavour, though - I will give them that.

I would consider going again and trying something...

The Ba Bar restaurants already had a handful of tasty vegan options, so I was STOKED when they opened up this all vegan spot. We got takeout from the window, and though I wanted to try everything we got the eggplant appetizer, dan dan noodles, and laksa soup.

I was all SO incredibly delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and had such a simple + tasty glaze, the dan dan noodles had the classic Szechuan zing and "meat" flavor from the beyond meat crumbles, and the laksa soup had so much warmth and flavor. I loved all of it!

I will continue to go back, and I want to try everything on the menu, but it's hard when I know how good these dishes are!! I think the dan dan noodles are a must-order every time. :)

Again, EVERYTHING IS VEGAN!! And it's incredible. This place is a shining example of how amazing vegan food can be, and my non-vegan friends...
