I’ve been going to Basil Viet Kitchen for the past year, and I’m always supremely satisfied with the quality and taste of my orders. I often order pho to go, and the way they package your meal is like no other. They put all the noodles and meat in a microwaveable bowl with a lid, keep the broth separate in a soup container, and give you enough bean sprouts to start a bean farm. I usually get the large, which gives me enough food for two meals. In the past I’ve gotten the chicken pho which is always delicious. My main critique with pho places is always that the meat can easily be too dry and tough, but the chickens always been good. This time I ordered the steak and meatball pho, as I hadn’t had it before and wanted to give it a try so give a well rounded review of the pho here. I usually don’t actually like beef pho that much, but this ended up thing my favorite meal I’ve gotten here! It was a while ago, but I’ve also had the Pad Thai and it was pretty good. TLDR: Fave pho...

Basil Viet Kitchen offers a delicious and well-rounded Vietnamese dining experience with a menu that balances authentic flavors and variety. The appetizers, such as Spring Rolls and Pork Egg Rolls, are fresh and flavorful, while the classic Pho options are satisfying and come with generous portions of meat and vegetables. The beverage selection, including Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea, is a great complement to the meal, and affordable extras allow for customization. The staff provides friendly and attentive service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes Basil Viet Kitchen a wonderful spot for both casual meals and group gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Vietnamese cuisine in a...

Before COVID I used to love this place. The pho broth was fragrant of spices an nothing else. I feel that since they have reopened the pho broth tastes a bit off, both the beef and vegtable broth options. The vegtable broth tastes a bit yeasty while the beef broth has an offsetting smell. Both lack the spice flavors that were present preCOVID. There are instant options that are much better. Their pad thai is also wayyyy too sweet, I have hypertension from two bites. It also lacks the tamarind/sour flavor. The only things I can taste are paprika and sugar. They charge $9 for 5 measly chicken wings and the coconut prawns are coated in batter that is impossible to chew. I would go somewhere else for Thai and...

Been here a few times after class. Their food is really goood imo, service is nice and staffs are kind enough to find me a table to eat although I always come in rush hours. Ordered a general chicken but had to wait for a while (roughly 20mins if you want to challenge yourself). I ran late for afternoon class to be honest. Food was nice but I found a small piece of shrimp shell, and I’m allergic to seafood. Not that big of a deal but this is just a reminder for more careful preparation, I’m still alive after having that general chicken. Their stir-fried dishes sometimes come in too salty or too plain. Overall, one of the good cheap eats on my list, I give 4 out of 5. Much love.

This is my go to spot for pho, I go here too often! Service and atmosphere is average, nothing special. I really like the beef pho, the broth has really good flavor, and the beef pho comes with a good amount of beef. Prices are reasonable too! They have two size options for pho. One time they did forget to give me the bean sprouts/basil/sriracha plate because they were really busy. I have gotten the egg rolls before, and they meet the expectations for an average egg roll. I go here very often, its really conveniently located and the pho is good!
