I’ve been going to Basil Viet Kitchen for the past year, and I’m always supremely satisfied with the quality and taste of my orders. I often order pho to go, and the way they package your meal is like no other. They put all the noodles and meat in a microwaveable bowl with a lid, keep the broth separate in a soup container, and give you enough bean sprouts to start a bean farm. I usually get the large, which gives me enough food for two meals. In the past I’ve gotten the chicken pho which is always delicious. Read moreBefore COVID I used to love this place. The pho broth was fragrant of spices an nothing else. I feel that since they have reopened the pho broth tastes a bit off, both the beef and vegtable broth options. The vegtable broth tastes a bit yeasty while the beef broth has an offsetting smell. Both lack the spice flavors that were present preCOVID. There are instant options that are much better. Their pad thai is also wayyyy too sweet, I have hypertension from two bites. It also lacks the tamarind/sour flavor. The only things I can taste are paprika and sugar. They charge $9 for 5 measly chicken wings and the coconut prawns are coated in batter that is impossible to chew. I would go somewhere else for Thai and...
