It was an interesting experience, but I'm a bit confused why it's prominently named "Dessert". Or why it was supposedly worth $15.
I placed an order from them on Too Good To Go*, and the store and person behind the counter seemed nice enough. But when I opened the bag, all I found was one unsweetened sponge cake, slightly smaller than a Twinkie, with a light frosting of what I can only guess was salt and bits of seaweed held together with a bit of cream cheese or mayonnaise. And almost as an afterthought, a single one of the several small (about the size of a half-dollar coin, and a thumb's width deep) "egg tarts" that had been sitting out in a tray in front of the register.
TLDR: bubble Waffle is better than shaved ice.
Creepishly quiet place with piano music playing. The atmosphere clashes in my opinion. Looks more like a bar. Asian food is the last thing I would think of when walking in.
Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, food brought to you, check brought to you, pay at the table.
Going to let you know up front, the shaved ice is mediocre. If you want excellent shaved ice go to C Fruit Life.
Shaved Ice: gritty and tastes artificial. Lightly sweetened.
Toppings Boba: too chewy. Mochi: too chewy and dry in the middle.
Green Tea Waffle: lightly sweetened and very fluffy. Like sponge cake. No crisp to the outer layer....

This type of shaved ice is super smooth and creamy, and is served in different flavors with different toppings. You can basically customize it as you want, choose one or two snow ice flavors: green tea, black sesame, mango, strawberry, etc. Then choose toppings: fresh fruit, mochi, red bean, etc.
GOOD Green Tea - Good strong slightly bitter, yet sweet green tea flavor Black Sesame - Good black sesame flavor Strawberry - Fresh fruit strawberries on top were sweet and refreshing.
