DEAR OWNERS: Thank you making a California Burrito in Seattle! Price and value were great. However, I do have a couple suggestions for improvement. As you can see in the photo, the fries aren’t cooked enough or crispy. They are more like hash browns than fries. The beauty of a California burrito is the crunch you get from the fries mixed with the flavor of the cheese and carne asada! While I enjoyed the green salsa, the red salsa wasn’t typical for what I’d expect from a California Mexican restaurant. Perhaps too much chipotle flavor. Overall, thanks for bringing my hometown to Seattle. I hope this review gets read as I’d love to continue supporting your business!

I've been coming to this place for about 6 years and now under new ownership, the place is called burritos California.. it looks a lot more clean and the salsa/salad bar is also way more clean and organized.. I'm pretty picky with my orders and always changing ingredients by adding or removing 😆.. I met the young Cook Alejando which now he knows me well and even though I pay twice as much as the old owners (memos) is worth the price. (Again mine are special orders) prices are really fair and taste is amazing. Thank you Alejandro for taking the time and always understanding what I want.💪

had a terrible experience with California Alberto Delivery. Not only did the order arrive late, but the meat was completely undercooked — borderline raw in the middle. It was unsafe and disgusting. I couldn’t believe this passed any sort of quality check. I immediately had to throw the food out because I wasn’t about to risk food poisoning. this was beyond disappointing. I will never order from here again and would strongly advise others to think twice

I was very impressed with the menu prices, until I tried the food. Nothing in my carne asada burrito tasted fresh. I’ve been to these about-to-fail Mexican food places, where the steak feels like it was cooked the day before and reheated a day later, shredded and rancid. The steak supposed to be tender but has to have a body. They did not spread the ingredients evenly. So I ate them in order rather, first crumbled rancid steak then lettuce. I was at least glad the salsa didn’t have bubbles and wasn’t gone bad, but lacked on creativity, but their pickled carrots were good. The place doesn’t feel inviting (like those typical hole-in-the-wall taquerias), more like a wharehouse with tables spread apart like 10 feet, like in pandemic times. The music was blasting out loud at 11:00 am only to have a song skip over and over until I realized the phone they play the music with, was being used to watch social media videos. I was very annoyed by that, so I finished half of my poor quality burrito and left with no plans to...

After years of eating here I'm finally ready to exclaim my love for Burritos California. This is my regular Thursday go-to lunch, not just for me but our entire staff. The carne asada fry burrito is so darn tasty and is loaded with meat, french fries, guacamole and sour cream. I don't know what they season the meat with but it is absolutely delicious. Everything I've had from this place is delicious! Their price points are very reasonable and the portions are generous with meat, rather than filler like beans and rice like the other place I used to frequent, TDM. I literally never have a complaint when I come in to this place. I'm not sure if I'm spelling her name right but Tai who normally takes my order is always friendly and smiling, as are the people cooking. I look forward to seeing you all next...

I recently dined here and was truly impressed by the quality of the food. The ceviche was a standout, with rich flavors and perfect seasoning that made it worth the visit. The presentation was also top-notch, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. However, my experience was marred by poor service. Despite the restaurant being only moderately busy, the staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive. We waited an unusually long time for our drinks and had to follow up multiple times to get utensils.

While the food alone makes it worth a visit, I hope they address their service issues to enhance the overall dining experience. If you’re willing to overlook the service shortcomings, the food is definitely...
