Found three hairs in my potato bread. The barista did NOT care even as I pointed them out to him! I didn't care about the bread, I cared about the service. No apology. Not even a word. He took the bread and offered something else. Not a goodbye or "have a nice day". āCustomer service and customer experienceā is not part of Ghost Noteās lexicon.
EDIT: When I visited, I was doing a video review for this cafe from across the street. The next day when I reviewed my footage I noticed the rude barista waving/dancing/stretching in the background. This would've been funny if he had tried to make any conversation, if he had tried to be nice for a solid second, or if he had been helpful when I returned the bread. Instead, this felt like a sick joke coming from the business. This dude should not work facing customers.
End of the day, I wouldn't even bother writing this if he had just been a good person.
Plus, like someone else stated, they take an automatic 10% for tip, and the dude didn't even make my drink correctly. Glad other people like this place, would have been nice to experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI saw great reviews about this place online and on Instagram and I was extremely psyched about visiting. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
Atmosphere: below average, asa you enter this is a huge station that has merchandise and items for sale which makes the entire place look cluttered and cramped. there is no natural light or ambience to this place - super basic and didnāt feel like a cozy or an inviting place Drinks: We had 2 drinks here āLush Lifeā and Calypso - costed around $26. Neither of them were well made and it tasted terrible. Lush life was Watery, couldnāt taste the coffee and Calypso was extremely unappetising. We couldnāt even manage to take a 2nd sip.
I REALLY WANT TO LIKE THIS place but the atmosphere, quality of drinks and the overall experience were all below average and not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat signature coffee drinks. I have been going here for two years now and flavors have stayed consistent. I pay this business consistent visits and have tried pretty much everything and they are all good. Some specialty drinks like the Nefertiti may be too sweet for your liking, so double check, but its good to me.
The drip coffee is good all the time. In winter-spring, I recommend the Nefertiti with Orange. In the fall, I like the London Smog. In the summer, I recommend the Sun Ship or the Espresso Soda.
The atmosphere is okay, it gets too busy on peak times and the layout can get cramped, I don't know how that can be helped. I see people hang out here for chats and less for working independently on a laptop.
This is a no-tip establishment. The tip is built-in...
