Any place with almost nothing but ciders and sours is A in my book! Not a big beer guy at all but cider and sour yes! They have these in spades here. Cool spot as well! Open and inviting, casual seats and ample space. 4 and 6 pick flight options. Go during happy hour for 6 picks at $17. I enjoyed every cider I got and the 2 sours as well. I'd get them all again. Way cool spot for lovers of the cider and sour side of 'beer'.

Locust Cider creates some of the best balanced ciders I've tasted. Having a flight of ciders is the only way to truly experience their creativity. Normally I'd suggest one or two standouts, but in this case I can't decide which ones are best. This is in a busier part of town so plan to have a crowd. Only paid parking is available nearby.

Really great place for those who might want to try an alternative to the local microbreweries, Locust has some really good hard ciders. They also have a small selection of beers, and most are cider/beer blends. Their pineapple wheat beer is really tasty and not too sweet. There's a small menu of pub food, but the draw here is the cider.

A laid back watering hole located conveniently next to Pikes Place and the waterfront. Seating seems to come in pairs here. Tables for two, swings for two, bar seating for two, it's a great spot for a mellow time and I even saw a laptop out.

We chose this place specifically for their ciders. Flights were discounted when I came in Thursday (how cool!) so I ordered a flight of 4 and my friend 6. I ordered the honey pear, WA mule, dark maple, and apricot. The honey pear had strong hints of honey. The mule was light and crisp. The dark maple was heavy on the maple. As my friend described it "its like drinking pancakes". Questionable. The winner was by far the apricot. Subtle, fruity...

The inconsistencies of this place amazes me. I live and work in Pike Place Market, and have never had the same experience each visit. One former bartender on Sundays kept trying to turn a family friendly quiet space into a noisy dive bar so I quit going. I recently tried returning, and had mixed feelings. Tonight, however, is the end for me. It was roughly 7:50 on a night Google indicated their hours to be until 9 pm, and I was gruffly informed: "sorry, we decided to close at 8 tonight". This will be the last time I attempt to visit, if you cannot be consistent. This ALSO means my customers at my art table in the market will no longer have this place recommended. Sorry...

A chill place for a drink and hang. First off, I love the ciders. They have a good selection of flavors that make for good drinks. Vanilla bean is a personal favorite. The taproom itself is pretty spacious. It’s a shared space with the neighboring Anchorhead Coffee so there’s plenty of room to sit and hang out. I haven’t had any food yet, but they have a decent selection of bar-type simple dishes. The staff have always been very friendly and attentive. It’s always a pleasure to go. If you’re in the market area and want to get away from the crowd for a bit, this is...
