I do understand that the wait staff are very young, however, they should be a bit more professional. I like ordering a sausage muffin with cheese and the muffin lightly toasted. Often times, I can tell when they've only snatched a muffin off the shelf that's been there under the hot lamps for a time. The bread is dry, tough and overly toasted. I've noticed they sometimes think it's too difficult of a task to complete a simple request or accommodation, sometimes seeming to hope I won't notice. On some occasions, I've arrived after exiting my car in the lot only to find the door locked because half of the staff can't seem to get to work on time. I had to caution one of the staff by letting him know to place a sign in the window indicating this when such s thing happens Where they find it necessary to lock the dining area door. If you days later I find the door locked again but after closer observation a hand written in pencil small piece of paper on the door notifying customers that the dining area is closed Due to lack of Staffing. This notice cannot be seen from even a short distance away therefore customers have to exit their car walk to the door in order to find what they may even miss because of the sign being too small. This is very frustrating when you are trying to be to...
Read moreAt precisely 11:20 p.m., I—an upright, taxpaying, law-abiding citizen of these United States—approached the McDonald’s drive-through on foot, armed with nothing but hunger and hope. The dining room was closed, the doors locked tighter than a billionaire’s wallet during a charity drive, and the glowing promise of late-night sustenance emanated only from the silver intercom of that mechanical gateway. I stepped up—clearly audible, clearly visible, clearly possessing the same purchasing power as any car with a bumper and a muffler—and spoke with the decorum of a man who has studied the menu, nay, memorized it. And yet, I was told, with corporate indifference, “Sir, we can’t take walk-up orders in the drive-through.”
Excuse me? Is my body not made of flesh and bone just as much as a Nissan Altima is made of fiberglass and sin? Must one now possess four wheels and a catalytic converter to procure a Filet-O-Fish after dark? I pay my taxes. I recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I even own a reusable straw. And yet, when I, a man of reason and decency, dared to walk where only rubber shall tread, I was denied! If Ronald McDonald himself were present, I would demand he look me in the eye and explain how a Toyota Corolla has more rights than a hungry American with two...
Read moreCan't give ZERO STARS or I would!! There was hair in my fries. I kindly asked for them to remake them. There was hair in the remade fries. I went back again and told them again. Then as I get down the road, something told me to check the topping on the sandwiches to see if they were right. They were all wrong (2 big macs and 2 DQP with cheese). I go back and we ask to fix them. Also asked for fresh fries cuz now ours sat for so long. They grabbed the food and wouldn't let us explain how to make them, so wouldn't u know they come back and made them the same exact way (wrong again) but, this time they left out a 10-piece nugget and 2 large fries (we had 4). So I went back and demanded it done correctly and some compensation or refund for all the trouble. 1 hour and 49 min of this and finally they refunded me the money but only after I checked my email for the receipt (I ordered thru my phone) because they lost the receipt and without it wouldn't refund me. I spent $56 and they were rude and refused to listen to me and honestly, I will never go...
