I am a very regular customer of your UW location and have been going to your Pike Place market location for decades. It pains me to say that I've noticed a steep decline in the quality of your bubble tea drinks at your UW location. Since about a year ago, every drink I have ordered has come out very weak and watery in terms of black tea flavor and somewhat dusty from the creamer. The signature black tea flavor is vastly missing from the new drinks. I used to consider Mee Sum as among the best bubble tea spots in the pacific northwest, but this quality issue has negatively impacted my reviews and opinions of your product. Other drinks like the Hong Kong lemon tea are increasingly bitter, likely as the tea flavor is not as strong anymore. I understand that your business needs to cut costs in some areas to stay afloat, but I along with many of my friends and family who have enjoyed Mee Sum Bubble tea in the past would gladly pay more to keep the same high quality of drinks. Please take my feedback into consideration as I would love to recommend Mee Sum as a must visit...
Read moreI got the Hong Kong-style French Toast here I found this to be really good. Firstly, it was fried really well - the outside was actually really crispy and each bite of the outside ended up being super crunchy. I also got a ton of the egg flavor - even more so than normal french toast, I could see the yellow coloring of the egg on the inside of the toast. My favorite part, though, was the syrup and butter that came with the dish. After pouring the syrup on and spreading the butter piece that came on top of the toast apart, the overall dish ended up being incredibly sweet and yet quite savory at the same time - which I really enjoyed. I would say I definitely prefer this over normal French Toast. I wasn't quite sure what the filling was - but that was also pretty good. Lastly, the toast was served hot, which made the butter melt due to just being on top
For the price of around 8 dollars, this is slightly expensive, but not overly so, as it can be split between two people
Overall, this is a really flavorful and unique...
Read moreI ordered through door dash and I wasn't positive of the side options that came with the entrees (there are none, I know that now) so I special instruction'd to add chow mein and that I would pay extra. I've done that before with door dash and the merchant usually just adds whatever amount - ANYWAY. I learned they don't have sides for their entrees when the sweet lady talked to me on the phone, also adding that there wasn't a way for her to charge me more, and I said that was okay I didn't need it. They ended up making me a small side order of chow mein without me asking and she wrote 'gift (:' on the top of the box.
It was a surprise and so very appreciated and not necessary at all. The general's being boxed separately from the sauce is a good choice! I like being able to control the amount of sauce. And keeps the chicken fresher longer. I feel like it's going to make wonderful leftovers! I didn't care much for the egg rolls, however they're a great...
