I went to this MOD while on a trip w/ my boyfriend. It is one of the only gluten free options near the museum so we figured it would be a good option for us. First, it was packed. I have 0 issues with waiting, we weren’t in a hurry so we decided to wait however long it would take. When I was ordering, there were still many people in front of us waiting to pay/get their pizzas. The workers were mad that I couldn’t list off everything I wanted on my pizza without seeing the options before me which wasn’t possible cause the line for payment was blocking my view of the options. I said yo my bf oh like I can’t see what they have so I can’t say?? And the lady worker snapped at me cause she thought I said something about her specifically?? It was very awkward. They were upset that I chose to get gluten free because they had to change gloves and made faces at each other and at me. They also used the same cutting tool on my gluten free pizza that they used on my boyfriends regular mod crust (cross-contamination for people with gluten allergies). Then the guy who cut/final toppings/calling out orders began to PANICK and was cutting pizzas spastically and terribly (through the boxes, leaking grease from the bottom of boxes) and frantically put BBQ and spicy sauce on my pizza and I said WAIT I DIDNT ASK FOR THAT. And he stopped after putting it over half my pizza, flipped the pizza over to see what the original sheet said and went whoops and gave me the pizza with the sauces on half of it?? Like he didn’t remake it or even try to get the SPICYYY and BBQ sauce off ?? So I chose to not eat my pizza? With the the cross contamination and sauces I disliked on it. Definitely AVOID...
Read moreMod, the second chance program that fires you for being sick. Also the reason your servers are talking fast or trying to move fast is because your pizza has an 8 minute time limit. If you make a pizza mountain your server is going to get in trouble. If you put your fingers over the glass that's a health violation and when your server tries to get you to stop don't be rude, take your fingers away from the glass, they're trying to do their job.
A tourist spot, so you get many tourist germs, no chance to recover unless you wanna lose your job. Sick workers usually work in the back with prep and dishwashing.
Last day I worked here I didn't get lunch(illegal)infact most of my coworkers didn't get a lunch that day(super illegal), I was sick, I got even worse so I called out the next day and got fired.
Like I'm gonna kill myself for your pizza.
The new DM got there half way through my training, fired people left and right, took people from her own store which had a lower minimum wage filled up the shop, meanwhile back in Silverdale they probably had to hire a bunch of new trainees. Complained that I didn't smile enough, then brought in someone who didn't smile at all.
The manager here is cool, the servers are pretty cool, the dm sits there, complains about people taking their mandatory breaks even when it's 30 minutes late(illegal), will mean mug you when youre making pizza and putting them back on the table for no reason, just stare you down everytime you turn around, sometimes will plain ignore you if you're working in the back together....
Read moreI've eaten here many times before and never had such a bad experience before tonight. I ordered for online pickup at 6:20, scheduling it for 7:00. I was on my lunch break and spent my entire 30 minutes (6:55 to 7:25) waiting for my pizza. Around 7:20 I gently asked the person working the counter if mine was close to being done, I was told "a few more minutes". My pizza was pulled from the oven at 7:23, set in a box, and then just left while members of the team went about other tasks (pressing dough, shuffling other orders around, etc). The person who was in charge of slicing and calling out orders left the station and went to retrieve items from the back, even as my order and others were pulled from the oven. I could not stay any longer, as I was on the clock and had to return to work. My pizza would have been ready a half an hour later than I scheduled it and I never received it. Had Cheetos for dinner instead and don't anticipate even being able to receive a refund. After this, I can't trust MOD Pizza's scheduling option to function in a timely manner. I understand when restaurants are busy on high-traffic nights like this, but thirty minutes late when I scheduled forty minutes in advance feels like egregiously bad service. I feel sorry for the people behind the counter who appeared understaffed and...
