Extremely disappointing. I don't mind paying $24 for a sandwich at the Space Needle, that is to be expected, but I also expect that $24 sandwich to be good. I ordered the "Big Beef" because it is no longer called the Ribeye for what I can only guess are obvious reasons. The beef on the sandwich that I ordered was of very poor quality, overcooked, underseasoned, and cut with the grain of the meat. This made for a very bland, tough, and inedible sandwich. The french fries that came with the sandwich were scorched on the outside and raw on the inside. I had already taken my order back to my hotel room or I would have returned it and asked for a refund. I read from the other reviews that people have had really good meals here, that's why I gave it a go, but my experience does not qualify for this category, not even close. This sandwich shop definitely has the right idea, maybe you can catch them on a better day with a cook that knows what he is doing, but I am not willing to spend another $24...
Read moreThis review is long overdue as is my next visit to Mike's! Let's me start by saying that above food comes service, if your food is great, but service is bad chances are I'm not going back. Mike and the team were all amazing and friendly! Now, food! We had the Italian and NY chopped, and let me just say, this is the real deal when it comes to East coast sandwiches!! The flavor and quality is unsurpassed and you definitely get a bang for your buck because these sandwiches are hefty! The fries were full of flavor and perfect with their dill ranch which was sooo yummy. We did not leave without trying the crackling chicken, ooowee the crunch!!! They also have so many dipping sauce flavors! We also had the fried PB & J for which there are little words that can describe how great it was. Overall I cannot wait to go back and you shouldn't either! PS the fish place next door has Dole whip and is also owned by Mike so on my next trip I'm also...

After a splendid day exploring Seattle, we ventured into the Armory and stumbled upon Big Mike’s Sandwich Shop. The culinary stars of the evening were the Spicy Chicken and the Smashburger, complemented by exceptionally good fries cooked in Wagyu fat. My daughter was thrilled, rating the burger a resounding “100 out of 10.” The sliced chicken also left a lasting impression with its delectable flavor.
Big Mike’s not only impressed us with their food but also shone in customer service. The staff were super friendly and efficient, ensuring a swift and pleasant dining experience. Although the prices might initially seem steep, the quality and taste of the food undoubtedly justify the cost.
I highly recommend Big Mike’s for anyone in Seattle looking for top-notch burgers and more. The food and service are both stellar, making it a must-visit...
