We recently visited this restaurant, and the overall experience was very mediocre. The food was nothing special, especially the oil noodles, which tasted quite salty and unremarkable. As for the service, there was basically none. We arrived half an hour before closing and asked if they were still open. The staff confirmed they were. It took us about four minutes to place our order, and the dishes arrived in about five to ten minutes.
However, what really surprised us was that about fifteen to twenty minutes after the food arrived, the staff began to urge us to hurry up and leave because they were preparing to close. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a situation—if a restaurant chooses to serve customers, they shouldn’t rush them out. The service in this case was really poor.
The environment was decent and fairly clean, but the overall experience was disappointing.

UPDATE: Regarding the Owner’s Response
After seeing the owner’s response, I feel it’s necessary to clarify some details. The owner claimed that their staff just wanted us to realize it is closing soon, but in reality, the staff clearly told us that we either had to take the food to go or eat quickly. There was no polite suggestion, just a direct push to make us leave. This is completely different from what the owner described, and it feels like they are lying to downplay the poor service we experienced. This makes me even more disappointed with the...

We decided to try this place as it has stores in Japan. There were 3 groups of people dining when we entered around 11:20 am. We grabbed a seat and ordered through the QR code. They have a guide to teach you how to eat their noodles: basically add the vinegar and chili oil on the table, mix it well, then enjoy.
The noodles came quickly, and the portions were just right for the two of us. I actually couldn't finish my regular sized one, but decided not to carry the leftover around so I ate it all.
My husband ordered shoyu with chili oil added in already, and I got the shio. I tasted the noodles before adding the vinegar and chili oil, and it was already good. The noodles tasted more complex after adding the two condiments, but the difference is small and you can't really taste the vinegar. I also tried my husband's noodles and it was way too spicy for my liking, but I think whoever has a stronger palate will enjoy it very much.
Another thing I like about this place is that they welcome you to take your chopsticks home after you use them. I tend to like this kind of chopsticks as it's more sturdy than most wooden ones. There is also a baby diaper changing station in one of the bathrooms, so that was quite nice as well if you want to visit...
Read moreThe cake was either rotting or or sat in the same sealed container of something that was rotting. I should’ve known better when they told me they were out of it, then had a quiet conversation I couldn’t understand and all of a sudden had a slice (at 9pm). The taste of that cake and how that went down is the reason I will never go back here.
I chose this tea place out of the zillions of boba places that have popped up because I had read it was family owned and operated —and I like to support local…until I get served trash cake then all bets are off. The staff was really nice…and I wish this service translated to food handling prep too but the cake thing was over the top for me in a bad way because it was so obvious it was not something that should’ve been served to any person or animal —and this might be a great lesson for the young woman at the counter to learn that it never pays to want to please customers so badly that you will serve them an inedible item to avoid just letting them know the item is out of stock. That slice should’ve stayed in the trash or compost it tasted like it came out of.
The drinks were fine. But nothing spectacular or worth eating a rotty tasting cake to get. No dynamic flavor combinations but the ingredients tasted as fresh as any other tea...
