I finally had a chance to drive over to Seattle for these tacos. Let’s start by the fact that everyone knows in Mexico the best tacos are in Sinaloa. The meat, grilled to perfection, cut in tiny pieces, topped with finely chopped cabbage (not lettuce!) and purple onion, with sauce-like guacamole, lime and cucumbers. Small tacos so you can taste all the goodness evenly, with a tasty tomato sauce on top! Eating at Tacos Cometa brought back memories of my childhood! This is a delicacy and fully recommended. They are outside the park, close to Glossier! Don’t let the other tacos one block away fool you like I did and ended up with tacos from two different places. Don’t come here if you are vegetarian! This is for true meat lovers and those who want the best authentic tacos!

Michelin Star tacos in Seattle? These street tacos are being ran by two brothers, one of which is Osiel Gastelum who used to work at Atelier Crenn a 3 Star Michelin Restaurant, at Somni another 3 star Michelin Restaurant, and Maude Restaurant which is also a 1 star Michelin Restaurant. Legit this might be one of the most talented chefs not just in the U.S. but in the world. And he just recently moved to Seattle! Come try these amazing charcoal grilled street tacos while you still can! Amazing flavor, juicy, with the side salsa which has the perfect amount of spicy kick. The only thing I hate is that they are only stationed Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6pm but the weekend is worth the wait.

Good food stand that's open on weekends near Cal Anderson Park. At the time of my visit they only offered asada (steak), with limited toppings. Payment is through Venmo or Zelle, or cash if you have it. Seating is... whatever is already offered in the surrounding area. So don't expect a formal dining experience ;) It's either eat as you walk or sit at a bench. I recommend just getting a quesadilla for a less messy eating experience (it's basically a large taco). The staff are super friendly. I'd gladly go here again.

I don't take issue with the food itself, but rather, its location and dismissal of those with disabilities. There are several locations around the park in which this stand could be located, but they have chosen for at least two Fridays now, to block the ramp that people (specifically folks with wheelchairs, crutches, canes and assistive mobility devices) use, to enter the park. They span out a double canopy, immediately in front of the ramp, lay out tables about the length of the canopy, then further block the ramp with their BBQ grill.

I'm told the food is alright, but c'mon. There's so many places to set up that doesn't create...
