Ti22 is a gem in so many ways that you do not want to miss out! My girlfriend and I were beep bopping around Seattle after exploring the Space Needle area and stumbled upon the Ti22 Thai restaurant. What. A. Gem this restaurant is.
Located only a few blocks from the Seattle Space Needle, Ti22 really captures each customer from drinks, to dessert, and especially the food. Food tastes great, garnished great, and prices are affordable. Best of all, this is within talking distance to other popular Seattle tourist attractions like MoPo, the Glass Museum, and the Space Needle.
Service is phenomenal! It is operated by a small group of employees (maybe family owned?) But they do an amazing job at keeping customers happy. Wait times pretty short even during times of rush hours. The interior of this restaurant is quaint and comfortable. They do abide by CDC covid-19 guidelines of social distancing.
The exterior of this restaurant is limited, yet still offer outdoor dining upon request. The outdoor dining tables are on the sidewalks of the streets of Seattle, so there is a certain ambiance added for better or worse. It you are seeking to park nearby, it will be quite a challenge, so be cognizant of the parking situation if there is precipitation in 6he forecast.
Overall, outstanding little restaurant. Everything about this place great and I highly recommend support this local business for dates, hanging out, or just grabbing...
Read moreOrdered two things: khao soi with beef and a roti-mango-sticky-rice-ice-cream dessert thing. I have no idea what the menu name of the latter is lol, they didn't have desserts on the menu but instead just described it to me when I asked. Anyways both were delicious! The braised beef in the khao soi was tender and flavorful and the curry itself was sweet and rich but u get limes to cut the flavor. The dessert felt so decadent (in a good way) because of the sweetness from the condensed milk and caramel sauce drizzled over the mango sticky rice and the mango itself which is just nature's candy but then you also have the two little scoops of ice cream on the side. And then you have carb on carb with the firmer, denser sticky rice on top of the absorbent pull-apart roti (just for clarification this is the southeast Asian variant of roti). At the end just eating the roti soaked with melted ice cream and traces of caramel and condensed milk was 10/10. Price-wise most menu items ranged in the 17-20$ range, with some of the specialities reaching around 25. The portions are quite sizeable (I was satisfied even before I got dessert lol) so I think its a good deal. They have some interesting fusion options on the lunch menu that I want to come...
Read moreFriendly staff but average cocktails and average food. My wife and I visited this place for dinner. We were greeted and were seated in a good seat. Place is quiet. My wife ordered lychee martini and I ordered crab cakes from the starters section. That was the worst lychee martini we have ever tasted and my crab cakes were over done and burnt. For entrees we ordered spicy Solomon and crab fried rice. The solomon was very average, the crab fried rice was good. Its pricey though. I will not visit and recommend this place. Not sure why they have rave reviews in google. I am a big fan of thai food, this one was a big disappointment. Please fix your food and drinks. When customers visit an establishment they are looking for a perfect meal. Don't ask them to tell to you to fix things. Take the feedback and work on it. Negative feedbacks are always good for a business that's constantaly...
