We absolutely love this place. We have had different menu items over the course of 2 visits.
We have sampled Beef Pho, Veggie Pho, Shrimp Fried Rice, Vermicelli Lemongrass Prawn noodles, Spring Rolls, Roasted Pork Bahn Mi, Vietnamese Flan, Coconut Jelly.
Everything here is so fresh and flavorful. Think actual flavor NOT copious amounts of salt masquerading as flavor. Perfect portion sizes. You leave full and happy, not bloated amd uncomfortable.
The Beef Pho has this really rich broth that has a very mellow flavor. They don’t put too many noodles, so you actually get broth to enjoy. The bean sprouts, jalapeños, and Basil are always really fresh amd unblemished and perfectly complement the tender meats and tendon.
Veggie Pho has equally delicious veggie broth. I don’t know how to describe the flavor except that it is light and pleasing and just very enjoyable. Condiment veggies are also fresh.
The shrimp fried rice is everything you want it to be. Light, tasty, and perfectly portioned for a nice filling meal, but again, you won’t have to stuff yourself to finish.
Vermicelli Lemongrass Prawn Noodles. Noodles are a nice texture not overdone. The shrimps are perfect and the lemongrass based flavor really comes through. A family favorite so far.
The Roasted Pork Bahn Mi has Light and airy toasted to perfection bread and well seasoned meat with fresh pops of yummy veggies.
The Vietnamese Flan is light and custardy woth a nice burnt sugar sauce.
My favorite dessert is the whole coconut, coconut jelly. It is soooo good. Really refreshing and the perfect way to further delight your palate after a satisfying meal.
The stand out star for me though is the coffee. Seattle and I don’t get along well, but coffee here is to die for and this coffee especially is something you want in your life if you love coffee! It’s rich and creamy, well balanced sweetness with subtlest hit of bitter and salt on the back of your tongue amd oh so good when paired with the coconut jelly!
And if the food wasn’t reason enough, the owners are awesome people. While we were eating this time a homeless man came to the door and requested hot water for his cup of noodles, to which the owner graciously obliged. Not only is the food good, but now you get to know you are supporting the business of people who care about others. In a world like ours, that means a lot to me.
Please come here. Eat here. The food is amazing.
Your husband will even slurp down his own coffee and keep trying to steal yours out from under your nose while he thinks you’re too busy reviewing to notice. Not so, sir, my coffee is guarded! 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry, no photos today. It was a low blood sugar...

Quality: It was a rainy and cold sunday night, I came here alone and ordered the special combo Pho and it was the best thing ever! It is very delicious, warm and filling. The soup base is very clear and tastes nice!
Appearance: The pho looks amazing and l couldn't ask for more! Looking so cute!
Portion size: I ordered a large and finished the whole bowl by myself haha! I honestly would appreciate more meats and noodles. That would be more filling and satisfying for the customers! But I also understand that the cost of everything is rising so it might be difficult for them to increase the portion size.
🙂Service: 9/10🙂
Friendliness: Very nice service! I love the smile of the waitress and she is really warm and welcoming. Great service!
Timeliness: The pho that I ordered came in no time, I honestly don't remember even waiting for 2 minutes and the pho is in front of me! I really appreciate that as I was super hungry LOL!
Environment: A clean and nice space with perfect lighting and decors! The lighting is not too bright and set the tone of the bistro, it's kinda giving a feeling of being home. I also loved how they decorated this place with plants and cute stuff! I also love the background music that was playing too!
Location: Great location for many UW students as it was just on the ave. Very easy to locate and within walkable distance to many apartments and houses. It might be quite hard to find street parkings but people came and go all the time! Very convenient location since it is 5 minutes away from the lightrail...
Read moreTldr: find hair from two bowl of pho in a row & bad service
Was looking for a quick dinner while chatting with a friend. Got special combo pho, one for each of us. My bowl had hair. No big deal. Family was in restaurant business, I worked in restaurant myself, I get that accidents happens. Simply call the waitress over to swap the pho. Didn't make a fuss or anything. Second bowl come up. Dig in, and surprise, another hair. This time, even longer than the last one. All tangle up with the beef. Seriously now, that's quite ridiculous. The compensation? They took off the pho from the bill, because I wasn't interested in trying a third bowl. (I wonder why) We weren't offer anything. Not even an egg roll, nor apology. Not even a discount on my friend's order. Can't imagine that it would be appetizing for her after I pull hair out of two bowls of pho. I wish I have photos, but I was too shock to think about doing that. I wasn't interested in getting them in trouble at the first bowl, not even mad until the second bowl. But their customers service only gets better from here. Highlight of all? They tried to rush us out. Gave us the bill practically immediately after they retrieve the second bowl. Another waitress came to take away the sauces on our table, asking if we still needed it.
I left the...
