Nothing to ruin your day than an early morning bad service. My wife had an early morning procedure at Swedish accross the street. Since we are early, we decided to grab a couple of donuts since I love Top Pot. I always go to the 3rd Ave store. When we order, apparently the female staff could hardly hear us so i just said the order was "for here". Aftee a second my wife said she'll have hers to go. So I said that we'll have both donuts to go instead. At that time the female server took an obvious deep breath, made a facial expression that was so obvious that we are a big annoyance. It was 8:15 am, but she probably already had a bad day. Either she does not want to be there or she hates non white like us. The other female on the counter was great though. And she was smiling and friendly...

Was super excited a couple weeks when I drove by and learned too pot has a location close to my new job. I have now walked to this place from work twice without purchasing anything. I can’t bring myself to spend my money here no matter how bad I want the them. On both occasions I’ve walked in , no one speaks or greets you. Kinda just stand around looking at you (or at least this is my experience. On BOTH occasions when I’ve decided to move past not feeling welcomed or being greeted to ask a question- there is no friendliness or any here to help kind of response . Very bland and almost felt like I was being bothersome 🥴. So both times I’ve left empty handed , experience over food EVerytime. It sucks . Will not be going back to this specific...

Great donuts, terrible service. Went in this morning 11/22/22 and was serviced by two ladies one with short brown hair one with blonde hair. The lady with the brown hair was talking to me like I was remedial when answering questions. The lady with the blonde hair who was making beverages told me I could not have caramel on the top of my frappe even though I already payed for extra caramel, furthermore she refused me to whip cream because it takes ten minutes to make (Which it doesn’t). I have never had to scratch a tip off my receipt until today after spending 40 dollars at this...

Everyone who has been to Seattle for any extended period of time has had a Top Pot Doughnut but that doesn't make them any less delicious! They have been around for a long time for a reason. This morning my doughnut of choice was a Maple Glazed Old Fashioned but last week I had an old fashioned with a Raspberry glaze that was so deliciously tart and zingy to go with the sweet of the overall pastry. I really love the Old Fashioned donuts but their raised ones are also a delight. I haven't ventured into the cake doughnut world yet, I'll let you know how it goes!

People here are very friendly! A smaller space than the wedgewood location so you wouldn't necessarily hang out here or do work. The counter where you order is around the corner from the donut display, there was something a bit funny about the ordering flow that I can't quite explain. The display case here is also much narrower than the wedgewood location's, so if one person is checking out the donuts already it makes it harder for the person behind them to see anything. (Pictured: coconut milk latte + Bavarian cream donut)

Not many options for coffee this early in the morning around my hotel. Glad Top Pot revealed itself as an early riser on the Google. There were many tempting flavors but I finally settled on a red velvet with frosting and an old fashioned with maple glaze. Both were stellar. My latte was decent but not less than stellar, maybe it was the espresso roast. I’d probably get a drip next time around. Service was prompt, courteous and professional and I suspect a fellow early riser....
