I finally had some time to stop by here before work and I am so glad that I did! I got the Classic Banh Mi (with the Vietnamese hams). The flavors of the pate and everything tasted super fresh. Reminded me of my childhood and gave me that feel good feeling.

Staff is very friendly. I think I was the first customer of the day. They have an awesome kiosk that you can order from if you’re vision impaired like me and don’t always carry around glasses or if you’re just super shy and would prefer to go through the kiosk instead.

I would come back and get the Banh Mi again. If it wasn’t so hot outside, I would love to also try the Pho.

The only minor downside, which is most likely out of their control due to inflation and supply chain issues in 2022, is that the sandwich cost $9.50 before tax and tip. Not a big deal for me because I am more than happy to give small POC businesses money. But if you’re on a Banh mi budget, you might find cheaper ones in the International District a mile away.

Overall, will definitely come...

Pho fell short at Vietlicious

I recently visited this place in Seattle, hoping to try their Vietnamese cuisine. While the overall experience wasn't bad, there were a few things that kept it from being a standout.

The biggest disappointment was the beef pho. The portion size was on the smaller side, which wouldn't have been a dealbreaker if the broth and meat were exceptional. Unfortunately, the broth felt a little weak in flavor, and the beef slices were all clumped together, making it difficult to enjoy them individually.

On a brighter note, the bun bo xao (beef vermicelli) was decent. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp.

Overall, Vietlicious is an okay option for Vietnamese food in Seattle. However, with so many other fantastic Vietnamese restaurants around, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it unless you're in the immediate area.

If you're looking for a truly delicious pho experience, I'd suggest venturing out to explore some of the other Vietnamese restaurants Seattle...

I saw this place open up not that long ago. I was interested in trying it, and their prices are super good. The people running the store were really nice and helpful to me seeing as I am not well acquainted with Vietnamese food. The place was super neat, clean, and well decorated. I liked the feel. They have a variety of rolls and sandwiches for an unbelievably good price, and their vermicelli bowls come in big portions. I ended up getting their cold vermicelli salad with grilled pork, chicken, and egg rolls. I definitely recommend the vermicelli salad if it’s your first time here. I liked the way they seasoned their meat. It was good. They also had non meat options too, which I’ll have to try. Their smoothies were delicious too. Not too sweet, and very natural. There was also a great selection to choose from. After I took my food back to my workplace, the entire office found the scent of the food to be alluring and ended up heading over there too! I am definitely going back.

Overall, everything was fresh...
