Vito's Bakery and Deli — Restaurant in Secaucus

I ordered $70 plus worth of pastries last week. My main criticism is against the store’s manager, an older blonde woman. When I entered the store, I was not even greeted and when I did place my order, she did not provide ANY customer service and even had an ATTITUDE while setting my orders in the pastry box. I would love to support this business, but the lack of service from their current manager is really disappointing. I probably won’t return unless they hire new management!!! Message to owner ~ you’ll probably get more loyal customers if you seek a new, friendlier manager. If you’re handling food and in a job to serve others, hire courteous people!

Poor communication. Merchant sent out an order for delivery through doordash. Went to go pick it up and the order was not ready nor did the merchant start the order after waiting 15+ mins. Merchant excuse was they were focusing on the consumers who in the store during the lunch rush but l, fail to make a consumers order that was paid for in advance over 30 mins ago. Merchant seems incompetent on how to run a business and the rules of first in first out when it comes to orders. Merchant seems to disregard the delivery drivers that come there to pick up the orders . This establishment should have more workers during peak times. If it was for the fresh mozzarella I'd give it 4 or 5 stars as the quality is really good yet a little pricy. Now to the not so good and the ugly. The famous blonde lady of the other bad reviews is no joke... she has no tact to be dealing with customers... super snappy attitude for no reason made me order much less than was I was looking to order initially. Worst part to me was the lobster tails... great flaky outside but the inside feels like they just emptied a can of cheap whip cream inside. Ended up scooping it out and throwing it to the garbage so I can fill it with something more proper. But this last part could be just my personal preference as many other reviewers seem to like it...
