We got the chilaquiles rojos (red salsa chilaquiles) and the breakfast burrito with sausage . The chilaquiles were delicious. The tortilla chips for the chilaquiles were crispy and that’s the way we liked them. The beef that came with the chilaquiles was just right and the eggs were made just the way we like them over medium. We can tell when the beans are canned and the beans that came with the chilaquiles plate were freshly made. 😋The breakfast burrito had egg, potato and sausage. That burrito was so good!! 😋 I couldn’t finish the burrito because it was too big. The prices were reasonable especially because of the area. We went to 10 other restaurants while we were in Sedona and everyone is so overpriced!! I wish we would have found three friends earlier in our trip. The gentlemen working there were super nice and attentive! I recommend you try them while in Sedona. Also, they have plenty of parking on both sides of the restaurant. Most restaurants we went to had...
Read moreI have been here before and don't remember the food being so disappointing. I'm not sure if they have a different cook or cutting back. It seems like the portions have change significantly. When you're paying $5 per enchilada you hoping get a decent amount of chicken in it. I think you get more chicken in Chipotle than I did here. Our food was so disappointing super greasy and chincy on chicken. My knife could barely cut through the corn tortilla of the enchilada without tearing it apart. Spent $45 on a three chicken mole enchilada plate, two chicken moles enchiladas and a chicken burrito$13 w no sides (burro). We did get our order to go but that shouldn't change their standards unless they feel it's okay to take advantage of customers with to go orders. I guess I'll be going elsewhere for now on. Adios tres amigos!
On a positive note their chips were yummy and salsa was good. They were super friendly when being greeted and entering...
Read moreThe best mole chicken enchiladas and green chili chicken enchiladas!! We dined at Tres Amigos twice during our short stay in Sedona because the food was so good here. The atmosphere is casual and low key, but don’t let that fool you. This is fresh delicious and high quality cooking with family recipes that have been honed to perfection. We ordered at the counter and then sat at a table to wait for our food. The waiter immediately brought us water, took our orders for drinks, and set down a small platter of chips and salsa, which were delicious, and a short time later, brought our food. Oh my, the enchiladas! I just can’t say enough about how tasty they were and how the flavors will live in my memory. The mole was extra special. We spoke to one of the owners and they confirmed that it’s a treasured family recipe. All in all we feel that this place is a gem and will please any foodie wanting to experience...
