Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Seminole

This was the worst experience I have had with this Applebee's location. I ordered from their website and it was delivered by doordash so when the order had problems I called the restaurant and they said there was nothing they could do. Then I called doordash and they called the restaurant to tell them to do something. I called the restaurant back and they said they would give me a partial refund, but the manager never called back and I don't see a credit to my account. Maybe it will show later since it was after 9pm and banks are closed for the weekend, but since he didn't call back I'm assuming he just "forgot".

We ordered two 2 for $22 deals and a double crunch shrimp meal with extra cocktail sauce and a double side of coleslaw. We only got one appetizer-missing an order of buffalo wings-the order we did receive didn't have the blue cheese. The double crunch shrimp was missing the cocktail sauce (and of course the extra cost more) and only had one order of coleslaw which leaked onto the shrimp and made about half of them soggy. Threw those in the oven to crisp back up, but I like my sauces and it ruined the meal for me to not have the cocktail sauce. The wings were cold and again missing the dipping sauce so that wasn't good to me either. No extra parmesan cream sauce for the chicken penne meal. Two burger meals were ordered with broccoli as the side. They put the broccoli in the box, loose, next to the sandwiches so of course the buns were soggy. Other times we ordered and the side was in it's own container.

Obviously the manager on shift is not very good because the service was terrible and he couldn't be bothered to make my situation right. I wasn't even rude about it. Even after he started out with saying that he didn't think the problems were that bad and that there was no way to send the missing items since they didn't have their own delivery drivers. I didn't expect that, I just wanted to get a partial refund for a meal that was entirely ruined for me and partially ruined for the others. I am so sick of companies not feeling the need to compensate customers when the service is lacking. Must be nice to have so many customers that you don't have to care when you alienate one. Because I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I don't appreciate spending a lot of extra money to have food delivered, that food not be correct, and no one at the restaurant responsible care because I'm not there in person. A manager should not be dismissive towards a customer when they politely explain that their order was incorrect. Maybe I should have been a demanding jerk, then I may have actually received the compensation I...

The staff here is horrible! Ozzie should be fired immediately! I would not recommend this particular location to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to the Bardmoor location. The people have there have their head on straight. Visited 6 times and left 3. On one of the visits the cook could not prepare the seasonal special, or at least the server did not have enough confidence to put the insert into the menu because of the staff in the kitchen. The second time we left we were treated pretty rudely and just decided to go somewhere else. We figured tonight we can give it one more try. Realizing that maybe our past BAD visits we related to being a new establishment. But immediately on the way in, there was an elderly couple trying to leave and they were seated at the very first table. The gentlemen required a walker and the assistance of his wife just to stand up to use the walker. This process consumed at least 80% of the available isle space, preventing us to walk by. To my surprise Ozzie actually impatiently stepped up and over the walker wheels, turning sideways just to get by expecting us to all follow. My 5 year old following closely, but my 10 year old daughter had the common sense to stop and let the couple continue. This process took a minute or two. Nevertheless we were ever so patient. My wife and I even turned around to get both doors to accommodate the couple after Ozzie’s rude and unprofessional gesture. After the couple left I finally had a seat but felt very uncomfortable about how we and they we treated within the first minutes... At that point we decided based on that and our previous visits we were going to eat somewhere else. I walked over and expressed very passionately how I felt to the manager on duty Ken. Bottom line I have had a good meal here but the staff is horrible in my opinion and the owner of this Applebee’s needs to evaluate the entire staff. They do not know customer service. Over being a restaurant, customer service should be #1. WILL NOT GO HERE...

Arrived Saturday August 9th at 4:30 pm for the newly advertised 2 for $25 with appetizer. We came with another married couple so a table of four. Heather was our server and was very nice but it was obvious there were issues and she was flustered.Amoung all the things that didn't go well where do we start?! Happy Hour All Day Long was laughable. First we were told NO draft beer available of ANY kind. This is a Saturday folks, I'm just saying. Secondly on bottle beer options, they were out of over 6 selections on the menu meaning you get what you get.?! The hand written page I was handed on the “mixed drinks had no pricing and there was a handwrittentten price of $143.29 next to the margaritas so I said jokingly to our server Heather “what, $143 for ill take 10” and we all laughed and she said she didn't know what that was. Our bnla chicken wings w/medium heat were on the level of something you buy at Winn-Dixie and unbearable. We took them home 4 of the 6 in a to-go container but no one was willing to go back in for seconds. Then 20 minutes later ( long after the waters requested and other 3 o adult beverages drinks were delivered) Heather appeared with a Margarita in which she placed in front of me. I asked her ‘what is this’ and she said it was my margarita I ordered. I said I didn't order a margarita and reminded her of the laughter from the table on the handwritten price of $143, but I accepted the drink only to find it was pure sugar, no idea what recipe they use but let's just say it wasn't what one would expect.
