Sergio's Family Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sequim

The worst dining experience ever!! Would give them no stars if I could. We never ended up having any food after waiting for like almost 2 hrs and when we finally decided to leave after 2 hrs of waiting for our food.. they didn’t really care about it.we had to go and get our own drink from the bar.. after waiting for almost 30 mins at the bar ..also saw another table finally sending their son to pickup their own check from the front desk since they had been waiting forever for someone to come as get their check! We did try and understand that they were busy when we entered but 2 hrs in and the restaurant was almost empty and still not food!!! Orginally from CA, I’ve lived on the peninsula for about 4 years and have been searching far and wide for authentic Mexican only to be disappointed over and over again. I’ve only had the street tacos here but they were legit… finally! There’s another taqueria in town that has a higher rating but I have no idea why because this was sooo much better. The other one is very Americanized and it tastes like they use the same sauce for everything. Sergio’s was fresh, flavorful, and totally satisfying. I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth and now every time I go to Sequim to shop I’m making a stop for their excellent...

The host that greeted me was very friendly and that made me look forward to dining there; however, there seemed to be some sort of party going on. I am assuming that may have been a reason for the slow service. My waiter was nice enough, and even came over and chatted with me before I left. But...after he sat my drink down he did not come back to refill it. The time he did ask me if I wanted more tea was when I was about to leave.

I think overall the place was nice and the food was okay, but in my opinion, they need to pay better attention to the people...
