I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yard House at Anne Arundel Mills. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. The restaurant was spacious and inviting, with a modern, industrial feel. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the menu was extensive.
I started with the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, which were cooked to perfection and served with a delicious honey-sriracha glaze. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the music was relaxing. The children loved the chicken strips and french fries. I had a beyond burger with a vegan salad. My husband enjoyed the nachos made to order by excluding the protien.

Read moreYes! I love Yard House. I’ve been a few times now, and decided it’s time to do a review. As a “reviewer”, I take reviews quite seriously.
Each time I’ve been to Yard House, my experience has been delightful. The menu offers a wide range of options for Appetizers, Sandwiches and Entrees. My favs: Chicken Nachos (with extra chicken), Whiskey Cheddar Burger, Whiskey Pepper Salmon, Crispy Brussels and Truffle Parmesan Fries. I’m sure other things are good on the menu, so I’ll continue to try different things.
Aside from the delicious food, the restaurant is super clean (spotless restroom), the atmosphered/music is great and the staff is wonderful. For a guaranteed awesome experience, ask for “Reese” or “Tru”. They are so kind, attentive and provide excellent service.
Aside from “wait” staff, the management team is equally amazing. Wes (GM) was so personal and helpful when I had a concern. When I met with Damon to compliment Reese’s service, we also had an awesome conversation. He was hilarious. He had the people at the table laughing hysterically. Today, we had the pleasure of meeting Larry and another woman manager (I hate that I can’t remember her name). There was an issue with seating, and Larry handled it without hesitation. When I had a question about an add-on, the woman manager made me feel like I could have the world if so wanted it. They were both kind, welcoming and professional.
Food, alone, will not keep me coming back. I keep going back because of the food AND the service.
If you want good food, exceptional service, with great music and a clean establishment, The Yard House is the place to go. They are “Standing On Business” when it comes to providing exceptional service.
Thanks Yard...
Read moreMy experience here left a bad taste in my mouth. I will probably never eat here again. We decided to watch the championship game there yesterday (Go Commanders) and from the start the service was terrible. Got to the bar and found a spot that was missing a seat. Plenty of room though. Was rudely told there were no more seats available and to put our name on the list, which we did. Asked to borrow a chair from the tall table behind us and then the bar tender rudely told us to put it back because we were "not allowed" to take a tall seat from a bar top table. Which we have done before with no problem. Talked to the bar manager who told us the same. Argued with her for a minute. Stood in the spot at the bar until our table was ready. When our table was ready, the hostess was very rude. What really upset me was, after we got to our table, we observed two separate tall tables, with four tall chairs, on the outskirts of the restaurant that went unoccupied the entire time that the game was on. This was after we were told several times that there were no extra tall chairs available in the restaurant. I really would have preferred to sit at the bar for the game and I made that clear to the manager. It's just bad service. It's a football game in a sports bar! Be a little bit flexible with your rules. We got there early. We spent a lot of money. And we were very polite about it. As we were leaving, I looked over and realized that someone indeed was sitting there. Awful experience. Never again. They lost...
