I cannot lie... Our party was from 2-5 and we rode around the parking lot for 30 minutes just to find a parking spot. It took other guests up to 45 minutes to find parking. This is no reflection of Kids Empire so it's not a part of the review, but I think it's important. Every year we do an indoor playground for my daughter's birthday party. When we first arrived it seemed to be very unorganized. After being there for over an hour, I went to the counter to inquire about our food and cake which was a part of the package that we paid for. They had it down that we did not want the food and cake that came with our package and we were bringing our own food. This is far from the truth however in the notes it was stated what kind of cake we wanted as a part of our party package. I tried to stay as calm as possible and I expressed my frustration with Myles, who I am going to assume was the manager on duty. I will say that miles did everything possible to try to rectify the situation. He got on the phone and started making calls to the manager and district manager. It was finally discovered that everything was put in the system incorrectly . Because it was stated in the computer that we refused the food, apparently we will never charged for it. However Myles was able to see the errors since it was written in the notes about what kind of cake we wanted and the theme. After what it felt like forever to get the issue resolved but , Myles understood how important it was that my daughter have a cake on her birthday and her friends be fed. He worked really hard to make sure that she ended up getting a cake and pizza which we were not charged for for the inconvenience. Myles had a good sense of humor and we're grateful that he did all that he could to make my daughter's birthday a success. For that I'm grateful and truly appreciative. As far as us returning, we may come so that my daughter can play in the indoor playground, but I'm not sure that we would have another event. I am not saying this because of the mishap, but when compared to other indoor playgrounds my 9 year old daughter said she liked this one the least because it wasn't as much to do and it wasn't as big. She was also disappointed that when the Dragon mascot came out, it did not stop to take pictures with the kids. Again, thank you Myles for...
Read moreI’ve visited plenty of indoor playgrounds with my kids, but Kids Empire stands out as the absolute best. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness, friendly service, and a fun, safe environment are top priorities here.
Upon arrival, the manager, Bobby, personally greeted us and made sure we had completed the necessary waiver. I had already taken care of it online, but I appreciated that they had convenient kiosks in the lobby for anyone who still needed to fill it out. Bobby, along with the entire staff, truly set the tone for the day — everyone was extremely welcoming, professional, and eager to assist.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and found the crowd to be manageable, giving my kids plenty of room to explore and enjoy every feature the facility had to offer. We ended up staying for just over three hours, and throughout our visit, I consistently saw staff members tidying up and making sure the play areas remained clean and safe for everyone. Their commitment to maintaining the facility really stood out.
What impressed me most, though, was the level of attentiveness and care shown by the team. I came alone with my two young children — a one-year-old and a four-year-old who is autistic, non-verbal, and prone to eloping. Despite the front lobby being gated for safety, my oldest managed to slip out several times when others were entering or leaving. Each time, the staff reacted immediately, ensuring my son was safe and alerting me without ever showing frustration or impatience. Their understanding and quick action gave me so much peace of mind, and I felt genuinely supported rather than judged.
Because of this overwhelmingly positive experience, I went ahead and purchased a punch card for future visits — even though it’s a 45-minute drive from our home. Kids Empire made such a lasting impression that the distance is well worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and truly kid-focused indoor playground. They absolutely live up to every...
Read moreFirst let me start by saying that this establishment is a new business that just opened inside Arundel Mills mall. Today is my 4-year old daughter's birthday and I brought her along with my other two children for the experience and to have fun. Although the ball pit, mini cart and slide, and climbing obstacle course was nice, the manager and the cashier failed to explain to me the no refund policy for the reload cards to use at the stuffed animal machine, arcade games, and electric bumper cars, which was a separate fee to use. I've been to several indoor playgrounds in the past and they are overrated to say the least. The admission fees are ridiculous and does not include amenities such as bumper cars, which is what I mostly come for. I will never come here again nor will I refer my friends and family. Three things that rub me the wrong way about these indoor playgrounds that they all have in common, either they don't have handicap accessible buttons for customers with wheelchairs or strollers or they don't work. Lastly, they don't offer attractions for special needs children who are non mobile. I feel that these kinds of child friendly places discriminate against handicap children and I am a special needs mother and advocate for the disabled. It is evident that I am always disappointed when I leave these indoor playgrounds, but I put on a happy face for my children. If the manager was willing to accommodate me by honoring a one-time refund for the card that I had purchased to use the bumper cars or obliged my request for exchange of sold specialty snacks, than I would have...
