Lil John's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sevierville

Went to Lil Johns for the first time yesterday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We started off with the garlic knots and their in house made sauce. Then we had the All The Way pizza. We also had a deep dish pizza. The garlic knots and All the way Pizza were really good. The garlic knots were cooked just like we liked them crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The pizza crust had a nice golden brown color. It was not a thin crust but not thick crust either and was crisp on the bottom. The toppings were cut uniform and cooked evenly.

Now ,if you’re not in a hurry and you like sauce the deep dish almost Chicago style pizza is where it’s at. It was a little thinner crust than the toppings another layer of crust and then their sauce sprinkled with Parmesan cheese on top. This is not on the menu. Just walk in this pizza restaurant and you’ll be hooked! The smell alone had me from the moment we walked in. We tried the garlic knots and meat lovers pizza, the homemade dough is perfectly cooked, and holds the delicious sauce and toppings in the perfect ratio. The garlic knots and marinara were heavenly, I’m already debating picking more up after work. Bonus is the later hours they are open! Everything closes so early around here so the opportunity for such amazing food after a late work night makes this restaurants new favorite!! If you manage to save room for desert, you have to try the cannoli, absolutely perfect ending to such a great meal. Above all the staff were all so nice and helpful. This place was an epic surprise! My son picked it out based on the number of 5star reviews...he is now my favorite child. I am from up north (Boston area) and moved to Tennessee 16 years ago, I gave up looking for amazing pizza a long time ago. Then, I ate this tonight and nearly cried. The sauce and dough are homemade. The sauce is sweet perfection, the dough is pillowy soft, tasty, yet perfectly crisp on the bottom. This is now one of our "always in Gatlinburg" spots. I haven't had pizza that has tasted this delicious since I moved down South. All I can say is give this place a try, you will be happy you did!
