I'm rating 5 stars because my son loves this place more then Dollywood and it's cheaper so a win win. Lol. I'd personally rate 4.5. I also have a good time here and my husband does too. There is several go cart tracks and my 8 year old can ride 2 go carts by himself and when he was 4 he could ride 1 by himself. He also enjoys riding the bigger carts with me or his dad. There is also several carnival style rides and they are decent and my son likes those too. I think they should expand on to these carnival style rides and have more employees working at these areas because sometimes even when there is only a few kids in line, there is no one working or only one employee working 3 different rides or is awall so we have to skip the ride altogether. The game room is really awesome. I think their VR, even the sit down one is honestly one of the best VR games I've done in a long time. You obviously pay extra to get cards for the game room and my son wants to spend half his time playing games but we all have a lot of fun. I'm an almost 40 year old woman who used to be obsessed with game rooms and now VR is my passion, mainly because most coasters are not good for me and my bad neck/back but I can do the one at Nascar speedpark and some at Dolly too but VR is just so chill and fun. My husband loves the coin games.
I want to rate a little lower because my son does tend to get bored after a couple hours of go carts/ carnival rides and when we come here it's usually around 3-4 pm anyway so we don't make use of the full day. You can come and go throughout the day.
This is why I recommend expanding. It's a bit disheartening that adults have to pay to ride most of the go carts with their kids. I recommend expanding and adding on to the kids carnival rides and this will be great. They had two rides not in service last time and one of my son's favorite carnival rides they shut down. I pay extra for myself so my son can have a good time. He has adhd/ asd so doesn't ride a lot of rides solo anyway.
On to the food. They have a concession inside the game room to order food and plenty of seating but the small personal pizza's they carry is nothing to write home about but my son and his dad likes it just fine. It's okay but don't expect amazing pizza. I wanted to get a club sandwich combo so they have other options but the pricing is just a bit ridiculous for those menu items and pizza is more reasonable cost wise. I am so glad they added more seating and the concession area is a lot nicer then it was the last time we were there. You do have to now sign a waiver prior to ride use but it'd pretty quick and straight forward. I think the employees are all very nice here so I'll give them 5 stars for customer service and 4.5 for the park overall but I rounded off to 5 because my son is obsessed. I do want to rate 4 stars for the cost VS entertainment however.
Last time we were here it was very hot outside and the wait times were pretty long but this time (Oct) it was absolutely perfect so we seemed to enjoy it more this time around, minus a couple of the kids rides being closed, the wait wasn't too bad. I think with a small expansion to the park (outdoors) things could be even better for the cost of admission and parking fee but we enjoy it and I think they are improving in some areas since the last time we were here. Last time I would have given 4 stars but now I give them a solid 4.5 (rounded to 5 again because it's my son's favorite place...
Read moreWe came for the karts. 14yr - adult. This wasn’t for us but maybe it would be for you and your smaller kids. I’ll be as factual as possible. There are Multiple tracks available and advertised. Not mentioned at counter, there are maximum heights so not all tracks can be used by bigger kids and adults. My kids could not use multiple tracks nor the pro track that they said goes 30-35mph. It does not feel close to the advertised speed. You must be 16 with a valid drivers license. The pro karts for 16+ are in disrepair. Blue puttered throughout the track and barely made it back in and the man was not given a free pass to ride again. They ran out of fuel and there is no provision to refill the Sunoco stamped manual pump tank. There is also no sense of urgency to get things going or running. multiple karts including mine stalled when they returned and orange had to be pulled from the heat lineup not without a painful pause in operations. Everyone waits while they attempt to restart a kart. And you can watch every painfully slow step and move they make. It’s hot, I don’t blame them too much but I’m also hot standing there. The staff is nice, however. Helmets are provided but was sprayed with just enough Lysol in between riders to say it was sprayed….but they are not disinfected. My chosen purple kart puttered on take off and couldn’t quickly regain its power if I let off. The only way to keep going is not let off the gas at all, no worries as they are not powerful or fast enough to slide. The way you are released from the pit is staggered with an intentional pause and you will not likely gain positions as the karts are again not powerful enough. The only exception would be for driver errors. You pay at least $20 extra for this experience which was 5 or so fleeting laps. That price is on top of the 45$ unlimited wrist band. The track is an oval style and not very large. In kart driving time was 5-6 minutes, possibly less. Your bands get you unlimited rides on multiple tracks that only certain heights can ride, bumper boats with water guns, a mini roller coaster, a tilt o whirl and another twirly ride and mini golf. These are even smaller mini me versions of rides that you’d see at a pop up state fair. The tilt on whirl lap bars do not lock down, nor do they check or care. so hold onto your kids. My kid’s bar went straight up mid ride and the operator didn’t do anything. No, nothing happened, my kid is big and smart enough to mitigate this issue, but be aware with your little ones. There’s a small indoor arcade and prize stand and a mini bowling setup for little ones with yes, mini bowling balls. Concession inside and outside wedding try anything except slushies which were to standard. Plenty of urinals in the clean men’s bathroom. They have a cooling mist tent area that was surprisingly not cooling nor refreshing on a 90+deg day. There’s a speedway mascot that walks around. For younger ones maybe it would be fun and worth the price tag. But for the price and for older kids, in my opinion there are better places to go with fewer restrictions, faster well maintained karts and better overall experiences and yes, worth the ride past this place. The lasting objective and notable impression I have is that while waiting in the multiple lines for our turn, I did not see any smiles from teenagers or adults when they pitted...
Read moreBeware: Incredibly dangerous management doesn't care when there's reckless drivers who intentionally hit other drivers.
We were at the park today 9/2/23, and we had not one but two seperate races in which there were reckless drivers. First one, there was a small child that was intentionally slamming and trying to spin out other riders to get ahead. The ride operators said and did absolutely nothing about it. Luckily, nothing bad happened in this one.
So we thought okay, lets try a different one as the reckless kid seemed to be going to a different ride. So we get in line, then start the race. As we were racing, there was about a 5 car pile up. Everyone slowed down, I watched yet another kid absolutely slam into another rider from behind. As in, no stop, slammed. This kid did not apply the breaks in the slightest. I told him "Dude you need to slow down", not a single operator stopped this kid from racing.
So the race continued and eventually slowed down. When we were getting into the lanes to get off, the same kid, absolutely slams into my girlfriends cart. We all got off and she was obviously hurt and had whiplash. She could barely even move her neck as we sat down. I let a manager know, he got us an ice pack and said he'd check the cameras.
He goes back inside, comes back out and motions us to come inside into the first aid room. So we did. He asked if we were done for the day and we agreed. We were done. We got our refund and then asked about the kid who was clearly driving reckless and they said "Oh we talked to them about it. They stated that 'he's just a kid and can't stop well or doesn't know how to stop well,'" I actually heard this from their manager. He didn't think at any point a child who can't operate a go kart shouldn't be driving it. This is pretty clear cut negligence on multiple operators including a manager.
Absolutely unreal they did nothing about it. I could MAYBE understand if there was an apology or some sort of remorse for hitting not one, but two people in the same race. But there was none and they were allowed to continue.
If you go, just understand, they do not care if you get hit and hurt. They will refund you and that's the end of it. The person responsible will...
