I am not sure what happened to the polite, friendly and competent staff that worked at the Chipotle down the street at the location that closed when this new location opened, but let me tell you, this new location is a disaster, all the way around. There is double the amount of people working at the new location versus the old location and the new location line is visually dirty where they slide the burritos and bowls along the line and there is no chance that on any given day you stop by to pick up lunch that they won’t be out of rice, meat, guac or even chips. How are you ALWAYS out of rice? Lunch is clearly their busiest time of day and this location is NEVER prepped for the lunch, that the other location handled so seamlessly. Someone may also need to say, hey, if the line looks dirty, take a towel and wipe off the line between customers. This is really basic stuff.
From staff running around like crazy, having the line staff cut in to make dishes they “forgot” for someone at the cash register, the yelling that they “need white rice at the line” to the kitchen that is literally six-feet behind the line, its an absolute slow moving train wreck. The line staff is slow, non-attentive and watching some of them put food in a bowl is painful. I have been to this new location five times at this point, always for lunch, and not once has this location had white rice. Whoever manages this location needs to be demoted to the line because it is clear, they have no idea how to run, manage or operate a...
Read moreThe issues with this new location seem to be from management and staff still figuring things out. The staff at the previous Sharonville location right next to where the new one was built worked very well together but I didn’t see any of them when I went.
My biggest issues with the food were the rice was undercooked and crunchy. The portions were also very small. I went at 9pm on a Saturday and a few food items being low or out of stock after the dinner rush is to be expected, but more items were out of stock than normal when the restaurant is still open for 2 more hours.
When I ordered it wasn’t busy but service took longer than normal. This caused a line to back up.
Something weird about the building is the ceiling in the dining room is just exposed plywood and it seems like it opened before construction fully finished.
Overall I hope these issues can be corrected and I’m going to wait a few months to return to this one in hopes that everything...
Read moreThe old location about 1/4 of a mile south that they closed and replaced with this location was way better. Every time I have gone to this new location, the ingredients (mainly meats, rice, beans) have been overcooked and dry, especially the meats. The last visit, I arrived around 8 and they were out of sour cream, tomato salsa, lettuce and chips. Those aren’t imperative, but I am confused how you run out of those ingredients so early in the night when you’re supposed to be open and operating until 11:00 PM. I imagine sauces normally stay pretty stocked up, but when I asked for a side cup of the vinaigrette, they provided me with a cup containing maybe a tablespoon of the sauce. I wasn’t expecting a gallon of sauce, but this one top of the terrible food and selection is the icing on the cake. Find another Chipotle if you...
