Wendy's — Restaurant in Shawnee

BE CAREFULL THEY ARE THIEVES! Had sign saying frosts only $0.50 we ordered a small and a junior size in drive through when we looked a receipt we noticed the junior (way smaller than a small) was NOT it was a $1.00 no real biggie but when we went back and let them know the manager meet us at window and said i was not correct and they were! i reminded them the sign said frosty are $0.50 (not just one size ) i asked her to show me where it says it? and she just walked off from me! Wow what a manager! So I figured they were going out front to look at sign but no!!! she sent out a girl not a manager and when i asked here where it says that she pushed a sign in my face and said it says it here! I explained besides that sign there is nowhere else that says that! i asked for $ they over charged they refused! so we left and called corporate a general manager called me and i had to explain to him and then he lied right to me! No why the manager sucked at trying to fix stuff must been trained by him! and said sorry and he WOULD send me my $ but not a man of his word and never did its been a few weeks now! He also lied said the owners would call me lies they dont care & have never called! he also blamed the owners for the sign saying they wanted it to be false advertising. Just think yes its only $0.50 BUT how many other people have they scammed stealing $ ?? 100s or 1000s i bet and that adds up!!! So they know it and do it on purpose! The manager and general manager and owners DONT CARE THEY STEAL your money! so beware!!!! Check your receipts! If u dear to eat here and note even if wrong THEY WILL NOT FIX IT! So Eat somewhere else ill NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! DONT CARE FOR LIARS AND THIEVES! IM NOT GOING TO SUPPORT...

On 12/11/2013 I walked in with my husband around 7:15pm and was immediately given what they DIDN'T have, i.e no large drinks, no certain buns, root beer ect.... I tell my husband my order and go to the bathroom. The bathroom was a complete disaster area! Toilets were awful and paper was strewn all over the floor. I was trying to hurry to tell him that we needed to leave well the order had already been placed and paid for! There was one lady and 2 teenage girls in the restaurant at the time so I thought well this shouldn't take long.... TOOK FOREVER and not ONE of the employees wore gloves and they all appeared very unkept! Finally receiving our food I asked them for ketchup and they abruptly pointed to the center aisle where the ketchup is "suppose" to be. I told them it was out when there were 2 packages of ketchup SLUNG on my tray! We turned to sit down and over half of the booths and tables were dirty and still had food on them and the floor was nasty! I could hear the employees yelling at one another to fill the ketchup dispensers up and various other things! One employee told another one TO STOP YELLING AND BARKING ORDERS AT HER.. My husband and I could barely put our trash in the trash can both were overflowing! I have never got up and walked out of a restaurant and now I wish I had!! UPDATED Review... WOW, much has changed. This Wendy's used to be great. I left a 5 star review 3 years ago. I guess everything at this location is now served room temperature. I stopped coming here because the quality got too bad. About 3 weeks ago I decided to give them another chance. I hadn't had a double stack for awhile. They have changed. Now it comes with a rock hard top bun, unmelted sliced cheese and a giant glob of mayo all at room temp. Now today the wife wanted to try the new strawberry Frosty. I though...what could go wrong, it's a Frosty. Jokes on me! I ordered 2. The young lady in the drive thru handed me 2 little cups and said "we are out of smalls so we had to make them weird". I said that shouldn't be a problem since I ordered mediums. She looked confused for a minute then said. Oh, those are mediums, I think. I then asked if there was anything in them because they feel empty and not at all cold. She said that's how they are supposed to be? I could see this was a lost cause so I just left with what I had...still not sure what I had. The cups had a pink room temperature foam in them that had no substance to it. Nothing that resembled any Frosty I've ever had...though it has been a few years since I've had one...so maybe they changed. I think the Shawnee Wendy's is a NO GO for the foreseeable future.
