This restaurant is much more attractive and cleaner than most of the Long John Silvers restaurants we have visited.

The staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Everything inside and outside suggests that the facility is well maintained and we'll managed.

The restrooms are clean, odor free and attractive in appearance. Consumable items are well stocked.

The order counter, beverage dispenser and condiment counter we're absolutely clean and organized. The trash recepticles we're clean and not over full. The dining room and tables were spotless.

Our order was brought to the table immediately, although it was mid afternoon and there were very vew customers.

Everything about this place is good except the food.

My meal presented a good appearance, but flavor and texture indicated that the shrimp, fish and french fries had been prepared well in advance and kept warm much too long. The only thing on my plate that was worth eating was the slaw, which was just fine. Most of the other food went into the trash recepticle.

I appreciate fast food, but for me, food quality is more important than immediate service. If my meal had been of good quality this restaurant would rate five stars, even if I had to wait a few minutes for the meal to be prepared and served.

Let me just say, I never go to LJS because Im not a fish eater. I decided to stop in here about 30 mins prior to their close of business for the evening while my husband shopped the next door Rural King. Though, I dont do fish, I happen to love hush puppies which I hardly ever get to enjoy. The drive thru sign sold me on the crab cakes which I know my husband loves. Everything was dropped fresh to which I couldnt have been more pleased with since they were soon to close. The young lady who took my order was also very pleasant and respectful. The hot crab cakes were a great surprise to my hubby who thought I was just waiting in the car :) I must say, I may just make grabbing up some hush puppies a "thing" on my trips to Rural...

Very sad. Let down. I had the 2 fish 1 chicken 3 shrimp. Where do I start. My huspuppys were cold and hard. My fish at least 30 to 40 min old cold and very dry. My chicken cold and dry. My roommate got the fish tacos meal. Her 2 tacos were cold and dry and her waffle frys were cold. Not a pleasant experience. At ALL. I had been craving Long Johns. Like CRAVING IT. Drove all the way to Shelbyville from Versailles for LJS. Horrible absolutely horrible excuse for food. I guess Nicholasville needs to hurry and open. I'll go to Paris until then. Shame. I wanted it so bad....
