Going Downhill! I went in to order a sandwich on Wednesday, 3/30 at 1:35 pm. There was a woman being helped by 1 of the 4 employees working. Once she was done getting her order made, she headed down to the cash register. Now, it was my turn! But, as I stood there, a mobile order printed out. The girls that I thought was about to ask for my order said she needs to wipe down the counter. I said ok. But then she proceeded yo start wiping down the meat slicer. Then, she started taking apart the meat slicer to clean it even better. I asked her what she is doing, as I really needed to get going. She said she needs to make the mobile order that just came through, and it’s a gluten free order, so she needs to clean everything very thoroughly. I asked her why she would possibly start making that order before taking my order. She said that’s the rule. Mobile orders come first, no matter what. Then she put the ticket down to start actually making the 5 sandwiches on that order, while I stood there. As she put the ticket down, the pick up time was 2:00!!!!!! I was NOT happy at that point, seeing that I am in the store, now waiting 10 minutes for her to clean everything for a customer that is not in the store. Then wait for her to make all 5 sandwiches, while I only needed 1 sandwich. She clearly had time to get this other order ready had she actually even asked me what I would like at 1:35. I then asked to speak to the manager, who happened to be standing right there, and heard the whole dialogue and never “stepped in”, knowing I was irritated. The manager, a young girl with blonde hair, said she needed to make the mobile order first just in case they came in early!! Yet I was there, in person and the gluten free customers were not.
Clearly, customer service is not a priority here. Not one apology for leaving me standing there for over 20 minutes in an empty store, nor any attempt to understand why a customer would be upset about this situation.
I will gladly just go to the Mooresville location instead, where they run their store like they actually appreciate their customers. Without customers, your store will close down. So treating them like they are “bothering” you is not going to work in...
Read moreAvoid at all costs if you're in a rush. The staff there are mostly kids but they are mostly friendly but they do not know how to speak to customers and when you explain your experience to the manager, she is even worse. She is blunt and very frustrated all the time it seems. No professionalism at all. She rushes you along like a conveyer belt. My work friends and i used to visit often when the older manager was there. He was very friendly and knew what customer service meant. He and the younger gentleman were always very kind and respectful, even brought our subs out to us when they had time. Now as for today, I went in with my crew today and it was the worse experience. The line was out the door, the crew was short staffed. There were only two people there. What kind of management team only has two people available for lunch? The young gentleman and the young lady were doing the best they could, but they were obviously overworked, and there was no manager in sight to help them. The staff looks overworked, the food quality has gone down, and the manager clearly has no idea what she is doing. Today was...

I write to you today so that I can draw your attention to one of your employees. Jamie was running your meat slicer and through a large lunch swell she did not falter. Twice while I waited in line entire familes placed orders for multiple meaty Italian subs, but unfazed, unflinching, Jamie skillfully sliced those meats without ever batting an eyelash. I've never seen anything like it. She was in tune with her machine as a samurai to their blade. Then the sangwitch itself, ah, lemme tell ya. Those meat slices, are you listening, those meat slices were so thin they just melted into the cheese. This wasn't food, this was a song that carried my ethereal spirit to the blissful antipodes of our collective consciousness. I. saw. god. I digress, thank you Jersey Mike's, thank you Jamie, I'll...
