The food here is decent in comparison to other McDonalds Locations. However, I am writing this review because I do think the atmosphere could be a bit better. They have signs that say text to apply, which tells me they may be understaffed or at least are looking for more help. Then I see a good employee talk on the phone who sounded like he was calling someone who seemed to be another coworker from another job, I think he mentioned Walmart, and he asked that co worker to ask their boss if he could either come in later or take the night off because McDonald's just asked him to work until 7, which sounds to be not his normal shift. However, instead of being respected by other employees for trying to make his schedule to work when needed, a woman who must have been his manager walks by and snaps angrily "no phones!". I honestly thought she was talking to me for a second and I got confused and a little spooked. However, she was talking to this good employee. The good employee tried to explain that he got permission from someone else to talk on the phone to get the extra work scheduled with his other job, but he couldn't even explain himself after he said that one of his coworkers or maybe another manager gave him permission, she said something that I don't remember exactly, but it seemed pretty clear that she did not believe him at all. It was sad to see because the good employee was trying to do something good, and the woman who I think was the manager was SUPER snappy at him for trying to help the McDonalds team without even being apparently willing to trust him enough to hear him out fully. She did sigh heavily when I saw her next so maybe she was having a stressful day, but I was too chicken to tell her directly about what I saw from the good employee, mostly because I was afraid she would bite my head off too. I don't think anyone should get in trouble here but I just think this is a good lesson for the management here to not jump to conclusions and to trust your team of coworkers. I hope they see this. I don't want to diss on this location of McDonalds but I did feel like something needed to be said, and like I said I wasn't willing to tell it to her face, so I hope she...
Read moreUpdate; went back 2 weeks later for the apology the manager said Drew would give me, he was just laughing and then I asked him if he was going to apologize and he said it very sarcastically. I'm tired of rude people who hate the fact they work at McDonald's and then take it out on customers. This whole store needs a new crew and a management team who makes it a priority to have their worker's be respectful. I'm just disgusted being treated badly Everytime we go here with our children!! My wife had a very, very disturbing experience. The workers name was Drew(assistant manager?)and he was a complete unprofessional, and rude person. The minute she pulled up he asked her what she ordered so she had to read it back to him then he fills up a kids meal soda and hands it to her with 2 cups and soda running down the side of it. My wife, not wanting a mess in the car starts wiping it down and she trieas to hand it back to Drew, he completely ignores her and he says "we can't take it back". My wife accidentally drops it trying to put it back in the vehicle and he yells at her saying she is "trashing the place" and he doesn't know why she couldn't just keep the cup all the while rolling his eyes when she says he should have just taken it since he gave extra. That is a spill hazard if our son has 2 cups on his drink. This whole time he is doing this in front of our children, specifically our 12 year old daughter who is getting upset that he is being so rude. This should not be happening and the manager is just standing there. He tells her it was "disgusting" she dropped the cup. No one like Drew should be working with the public if he cannot control himself. Unacceptable behavior! Corporate has...
