Went with the kids, got two small Italian ice and a concrete. I watched as we waited in line, everyone that got a concrete was incredibly sub par and had to have an inch of empty space at the top of the cup and no lid to go with. Considering the cups are very small to begin with, I specifically made it a point to request additional custard on mine. Well, I got mine and oddly had a lid on it. Looked into the cup, I could see straight to the bottom of the cup. So I scraped everything off the lid, placed it in the cup where it was hardly mixed and what do you know, about an inch of space from the top. I knocked on the window, assuming the manager given his attire and demeanor, and requested it be mixed. Mixed and handed back. Considering you’re paying $7 for the cup, you’d expect it to be at-least filled. Pretty sure, and this is an assumption based off me not tasting it, it was a Rece’s and toffee and there was no Rece’s. I haven’t been here since I was a kid and totally forgot how good their Italian ice is my kids also got to try for the first time and ate the whole Italian ice. Will definitely be back sometime. The only thing is yeah, they’re a little overpriced, but it could be worse and with how good the Italian ice is. I’d say it’s worth it, especially when not one bite gets wasted.
