Last time I visited Chipotle was 2010 in central Phoenix. Food was fresh and delicious. The serving bar was at least 21 feet long and they offered alot of extras like 4 different types of grilled peppers, 3 types of rice and 8 types of salsa. You could see the cooks actually grilling the meats and the entire vibe of the restaurant was energetic and fun. Fast forward to last weekend... Friend and I were craving some fast Mexican food so we popped into the Chipotle in Sierra Vista. I thought we had entered the wrong restaurant. It was very small with a serving bar of about 8 ft.with a fraction of the offerings I had expected. I had the Barbacoa burrito (just meat, cheese and medium hot salsa, with a side of guacamole). Friend had the Carne asada burrito with just the steak, guacamole and Pico de Gallo. What a disappointment. The tortilla was gummy, not fresh and toasty. Meat and guacamole were extremely salty. Many of the line offerings esp the rice, beans and chicken looked very sad and unappealing ( we skipped these). The 4 stars for service is given to the older ladies who were behind the serving as they were very nice . Atmosphere is like a funeral home. Although the restaurant was half full it was extremely quiet. Completely different restaurant from what I had previously experienced or how Chipotle is depicted in its commercials. Bottom line : we won't...
Read moreOnce again, after giving this restaurant multiple chances, I have been disappointed yet again. I go to Chipotle once to twice a week monthly for a variation of the same order. The last few times have been so incons with portion amounts that I have mentioned it to staff. I ordered a bowl, as always, and they barely fill the spoon and act offended when you mention it. I avoided the chicken this time, after observing it freshly cut I noticed it was still pink. The waitress didn't notice. I mentioned politely that the portion sizes have been getting smaller(after noticing the bowl was less than halfway full). The waitress took a handful of cheese and put it in the bowl to cover the rest. The male cashier made an excuse that they've been getting chastised and blamed it on higher ups. I shook my head disappointedly and stated this pattern is unacceptable. They acted like they didn't care, since they were clearly trying to focus more on closing tasks around 9pm more than addressing my concern. This has been going on since July. If I come after a workout during the day I get the normal portion. But if I come after my workout at night, I get treated as if I'm hindering them from closing and the portion size is inexcusable. If I could post the picture of this "kids plate" I would. I expect...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about my local Chipotle! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with a smile, and the staff always remembers me. It's such a nice personal touch that makes each visit feel special. They know exactly how I like my burrito bowl, and I never have to remind them—it’s like they read my mind!
The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made just the way I want. I love that I can customize my order exactly to my taste, whether it’s the perfectly seasoned chicken or the delicious guacamole (which is always a must!). The crew always works efficiently, and I never feel rushed, which is a big plus when I'm craving a relaxed, delicious meal.
It’s clear that the team here takes pride in what they do, and it makes all the difference. Whether it’s my usual or something new, I always leave satisfied. Chipotle has truly earned my loyalty with their great food and...
