I have lived in the area less than 2 months and they sure want to overcharge you for internet that has CONSTANT outages and buffering. They should be being fined for not providing the service they offer until they do proper repairs. I had Xfinity where I used to live and had less outages in 4 years than I have here in 2 months. Absolutely do yourself a favor and get Starlink. It's not much more expensive and get this, it actually provides the internet it claims to offer. I've had it a few weeks now and it's unreal how much better a satellite link can be over cable, being it shouldn't be that way at all. With Starlink at the peak times I'm still pulling 100mbps and during off times see the pic...

We moved and had to return our cable modem and Contour device after many years of being a COX costumer. I'd phoned to find out what needed to be returned and what the process was. The agent said we should get a handwritten receipt when we turn in the equipment. We signed in and after a short wait in comfortable chairs, the lady scanned the modem and brought up our account on her monitor. She handed us a small printed receipt and I told her they had instructed me to get a signature. She said we weren't going to get a signature from the store. Seemed odd. She walked us to the door and as she went back in, I took her photo.

“Buyer Be Aware”, this location is only about making money, no interest of the customer at all. Came to this location to sign up for internet only, the sales agent Lily placed me on some type of Promo that she alleged would be cheaper than internet only and stated that she would issue a credit onto my account for the duration of the promo that was to last for 3 months, gave me a bag of equipment that I have not used because allegedly a tech was coming to install and never did, I only use the internet since that is the only thing I knew how to connect. Long story short, I Paid almost $300 in store for what I thought was the down payment for the equipment and my first month bill that should have been $133. A month later got a bill for $612 went back to the store to ask the same sales agent Lily why my account was so high, she issued a $50 credit and sent me on my way with no regard for what she had done to my account and potentially my credit. Now I am left with disputing the charges on my own and with a bill that is higher than my car payment and cell phone bill combined and only had service for 1 1/2 months. Definitely seeking legal action for the false and misleading sales approach and for the invalid charges, the agent placed my card on auto pay that I gave to her to pay for what I thought was down payment and new service fees and without my knowledge. There is absolutely no explanation for why a consumer would have a bill for $612 for basic internet, even in a promotion in less than 2 months of service, ridiculous and disgraceful.Spare yourself the headache and definitely read the reviews, I sure wish I had done so before going to this place...

I can’t wait for Allo to hit my neighborhood

COX limits data usage each month whereas Allo does not Cox runs on Coax cable and Allo runs on fiber which boast better latency and upload/download times. Allo is cheaper for the same plans This particular store tried to charge me $70 more a month for 1-gig internet, right up until I turned my phone around and showed them on their own site that it was cheaper with my address plugged in. They were just expecting me to sign without doing any research and accept the price. Cox made a mess of installation, just found a spot on the wall and drilled a hole right through the side of my brick house. Then they didn’t even install a box for the cable in the drywall, just screwed a cover plate right to the wall. They refused to use any coexisting coax lines and said it had to be their own. The only reason I have COX is because there is no other option outside of cellular providers, but I’ve had them before and they will raise prices without telling you, and charge you more for hitting there data limits. How do you avoid data limits? Pay them an additional $50 a month for unlimited. COX limits upload speeds whereas Allo does not. For Allo, your uploads match your downloads. Cox may give you 1000mbps download, but only 30mbps upload.

Yeah, once Allo hits my neighborhood, I’m cutting all the COX lines out of my home. Allo is laying new fiber lines in Sierra Vista right now as I type this, and they already have my business...

Spent just 5 minutes inside to disconnect service because of a move to the middle of nowhere. Patrick helped us out, and was very friendly and seemed to undertand the industry very well. He was clear on all aspects of our situationand I would highly recommend going to see him!

One Month Later Update I receive an email from Cox asking for $100 payment after we have already cancelled service, and threatening a stop in service if it was not paid (...what service, I don't know). Given this notice I thought to call back to the trusty store to help me out because they were so kind and quick before. The employee that answered claimed no one at the store was named Patrick and transferred me to the automated billing department with the issue. After 20 minutes, I find that it is an equipment charge they are holding over on me.... for equipment we bought THROUGH COX. While on the call, I bring the attention to the 3rd bill we had, showing we paid off the equipment. After more waiting the call center employee said he had to file paperwork and notate the statements I provided to remove this made up equipment charge.

SUMMARY: Cox just wants to squeeze out as much money as they can from you, and we can only hope that Patrick is in a better place. This rating went from 5 stars to 2, because of greed and...
