I have experienced dickeys barbecue pit in Tucson and in Phoenix. I really enjoy their food and atmosphere and think that it is excellently done. However, I give this location one star because I cannot seem to be able to get their food in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I have tried on FOUR separate occassions to go there and they are always sold out of whatever it is that I want at that time. They never seem to have enough food! Why would I even bother going back if I know that they are always going to be sold out?! When I go to a restaurant location I expect them to have what I ask for at anytime of day or night, regardless of the current demand. I will not be patronizing dickeys barbecue again until I am sure that whatever I want they will have. Which might be a while because I honestly feel offended that they don't already do this for a place that has just opened. Get your act together and have all of the food available at all times. If not you should not have opened yet in the first place. This points to abysmal customer service and bad management by those...
Read moreThe staff today on Monday has no clue about what friendly means. The girl with tattoos all over her neck has the personality of a mop! Apparently I don’t speak English because there was a huge language barrier between us. I finally had to ask the younger man working for help to place my order. We have been to this location before and had a similar experience. They have a new menu board up with pictures of items. I simply pointed to the westerner sandwich on the board and said that’s what I’d like please. The neck tattoo girl had the look of a hog looking at a wrist watch on her face! Clueless as to what I wanted. I even asked her if she was having a bad day still no clue. I ended up just ordering something else to make it easy. Don’t think I’ll come back to this location again. If the manager is reading this maybe have a class on customer service for your staff before you lose more customers. If you decide to go to this location good luck...
Read moreMy Mom and I stopped in Dickeys BBQ in SV today to take home BBQ for the family. We hadn’t eaten here before and the service and help we received from the staff on duty was amazing. Soo helpful and kind. A young man in charge took over from a young lady that was so helpful and nice. They talked us through our options and clearly wanted us to enjoy their food. Even if the food has been awful the two of them alone would have made me happy. However the food was absolutely excellent. I had the the brisket and mom and Dad had the ribs. OMG it was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. AND I’ve eaten BBQ all over the country. The meat was perfect and juicy and the portions were plentiful. The sides were so good I could have just eaten them alone. Please try this BBQ and if your lucky enough to receive the service from these two employees that we did it will just be the icing on the cake. Thanks...
