I’m not sure if the kitchen was just having an off night based on the other reviews I’ve read, but our experience was very disappointing. The food was terrible. We started with the queso and chips, which tasted like melted Velveeta. My husband ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich, but it was completely drenched in hot sauce—he said it tasted more like a “hot sauce sandwich” than anything else and couldn’t finish it (which is rare for him).
I ordered the sriracha honey chicken sliders, which were bland, over-fried, and so dry that I needed water with every bite. I had also ordered the crawfish balls but ended up canceling them after realizing how unimpressed we were with everything else.
The drinks didn’t help much either… my margarita cocktail was not good at all, though my husband said his whiskey cocktail was decent.
In the end, we spent nearly $80 on a meal that left us hungry, disappointed, and unimpressed. Honestly, we could’ve had a better meal at Walk-On’s up the street or even at a...
Read moreMy family and I don’t get together as often as we would like to and when we do, we pick a place and we meet up there to eat and just talk. This week it was my turn to pick, and I found this place on Instagram and shared it with my sister And she said we’re going there next, so today was the day. Whiskey Kitchen, definitely gives restaurant vibes although it is in a strip mall. The food was absolutely great. There is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. I don’t think that we could have had a better experience. I had the teriyaki chicken. My mom had the steak, she said it was perfect. Everyone loved the mashed potato’s including the appetizer’s everything was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend Whiskey Kitchen to anyone, we will definitely be back when in the area. And yes, we did tell the manager that we really enjoyed the food and...
Read moreAfter my aunt asked to remake a drink because the drink was missing a certain liquor listed on the menu the bartender came and slammed the drink on the table. That’s very unprofessional. I ordered a shrimp Cesar salad and was met with “shrimp? I wouldn’t eat anything like that” from the server. My entire party was very confused and shocked that I am being judged by my order. The food is also very bland. There was no seasoning on the shrimp for the fajitas or the salad. The drinks were very mild for the price and the extra charge for salsa when It was just watered down tomato juice is … baffling. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to my dog and eats just...
