Title: Disappointing Experience at Wendy's Drive-Thru
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at the Wendy's drive-thru on Scenic Hwy in Snellville, GA . I visited the establishment and placed my order via drive thru, expecting to pay the amount quoted to me by the cashier. However, upon checking my credit card statement, I was shocked to discover that I was charged significantly more than the amount I was initially told.
Not only was there a discrepancy in the pricing, but the manner in which the situation was handled when I returned to address the issue was utterly unacceptable. The manager on duty, Ernest , displayed a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Despite my polite request to address me by my name, he continuously referred to me as "love," which I found both disrespectful and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, when I brought up the issue of the overcharge and requested a refund, the manager was dismissive and refused to acknowledge the mistake. Instead of offering a solution or attempting to rectify the situation, he seemed more interested in brushing off my concerns, retrieving the uneaten portion of my food and rushing back into the establishment.
This level of customer service is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on the Wendy's brand. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when addressing a legitimate issue such as an overcharge. The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by the manager only serves to further exacerbate my dissatisfaction with this experience.
In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of integrity and customer service exhibited by the staff at this Wendy's location. I sincerely hope that management takes the necessary steps to address these issues and ensure that future customers do not have to endure similar unpleasant...
Read moreI have come a few times here and have never had any problems. Last night I came and there was an order mix up and I was extremely polite approaching the situation and the girl at the window had the rudest attitude and rushed me to leave. I tried to not be upset about it because maybe something bad happened during her day but, I also had a bad day and a little more respect towards customers would be good. I'm young, cried about it on the way home. I didn't expect to get treated like that. Maybe I'm a bit sensitive but totally didn't expect the attitude when all I had been was polite. Will not be coming back for a while.
EDIT: 10/27/2024 Nearly 3 years later and I attempted to give this location another try and NOTHING has improved. My mom went through the drive through and the drive through employees around 12:15 pm had the nastiest attitudes ever. My mom asked a question and whoever the main girl at the window was acted like it was going to kill her to do her job. Slammed the window shut, forcefully pushed bags at my mother, and had a disrespectful attitude throughout the whole interaction. This location never has anything in stock this time it was soda and the lady acted like we were supposed to know what was in stock. Anyways this is the SECOND time these employees have acted this way at this location to our family alone. Brave enough to act like this face to face but cannot answer the phone when I call to talk to somebody about it. Seems to be this is the common theme here at this location if you look at the reviews. I think a revamp at this location needs to happen. These rude employees are horrible and no other employees or managers are fixing it. Im done with this location you guys are horrible people. Nobody deserves to be talked...
Read moreThey held the line at 10:30PM on a Tuesday for 20 minutes and decided to stop serving people who were waiting in line well before closing. No one came out to address the long line, or to turn people away. The service here is ALWAYS slow, the staff is often RUDE when the basics of the job is to serve others, answer questions and to not respond with an attitude over $5 burger and fries.
The manager, Jamaya was not only rude and unprofessional, she did NOTHING to address the people waiting when franchise protocol says otherwise. Many of the competitors will at least address the line, or serve until the last car is there. She instead lied and said their computers are going to “automatically” shut down, even though it was already 11:05PM when they served the last car. Assuming the MANAGER has the authority to do so isn’t out of range, and I’ve worked in fast food before. It’s possible.
I will never patron at this location. And it’s NEW. Like less than a year old.
Being one of the only places opened late in Snellville, it’s disheartening to get turned around after waiting in line for 20 minutes while hungry. The decent thing to do is to address your customers. I would rather drive miles than to return here. Never a...
