Honestly - garbage experience. Said they were open til 9p, but the server shut off the signs and shut down the kitchen at 8p. Which just felt rushed and worsened the experience.
I ordered a steak salad expecting it to look like what was pictured. But no, I was served a pathetic, overcooked strip steak laid over a massive bed of romaine and croutons. No cilantro, a few tiny morsels of cotija cheese, and no flavor. I picked at it for a few minutes, but was so upset with what I was about to pay for compared to what I got that I sent it back. The server knew I was disappointed as I told him so and he even agreed when he saw the photo of the steak salad on the site saying, "yeah, that ain't that", so he generously offered me his employee discount on the food I didn't eat. I appreciate it the gesture, but would have preferred he just removed it from the bill and offered or suggested a different menu item. Seemed like he just wanted to get out of there for the night as he didn't suggest any other option nor did he apologize or even try to smooth things over. I can't blame him, weekends are busy in this town. But as a local, it felt like crap to be treated as a wallet, not a customer and to not get the service you're paying for at a nicer establishment.
Save your money and just go to Rio Bravo in North Bend. Wonderful people, good food, fair price and portions. Anejo was a...
Read moreAnejo is truly leveling up the food scene in Snoqualmie! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. The restaurant has a fantastic layout, offering both a cozy bar area and a spacious, family-friendly dining space where kids are welcome.
Initially, we weren’t sure if small plates were what we wanted to try, as it's not our usual dining preference. But I’m so glad we decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Tinga Tacos, Nachos with Pork, and Stuffed Taquitos—and wow, everything was absolutely amazing! To call them small plates doesn’t do them justice. Each dish is a meal in and of itself, and the nachos, in particular, are perfect for sharing.
The flavors were vibrant and perfectly complemented each other, but the nachos really stole the show. Most places tend to serve nachos as a pile of chips with toppings thrown on. Not at Anejo! They went above and beyond, generously layering pork, cheese, beans, onions, tomatoes, and more, all perfectly mixed with the chips. Every single bite was packed with flavor and goodness—no dry or boring chips here!
I’m so thankful we chose to experience Anejo, and it has definitely earned a spot as one of my top go-to restaurants in Snoqualmie. If you’re looking for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, Anejo is...

Overall Rating: ★★★½ (3.5 out of 5 stars)
My recent visit to Anejo Tequila Bar left me with mixed feelings.
The food, unfortunately, were not the most complicated dishes and were over priced, earning a modest 3 stars. The dishes, while good, failed to leave a lasting impression and did not justify a return visit for a full meal.
The beverage program, however, fared better, garnering a solid 4-star rating. The highlight was undoubtedly the spicy margarita, which proved to be a standout offering. Its memorable flavor profile and well-balanced composition make it a compelling reason for a return visit to the bar area. If you aren't a spicy fan, get the house margarita.
The true star of the evening was Marta, the owner, who delivered impeccable 5-star service. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and warm demeanor significantly elevated the overall dining experience, showcasing the establishment's commitment to customer...
