Taster's Pizza — Restaurant in Snowmass Village

While on vacation and traveling to Aspen, we stopped at Snowmass Village for lunch and decided to eat at Taster’s Pizza. Unfortunately, the service we received there was extremely disappointing.

The person who served us was rude and disrespectful. Despite us sitting right by a large window, he partially opened it for ventilation. Since we’re not used to cold, snowy weather, this made the experience very uncomfortable.

I approached the lady at the counter to ask if I could close the window, and she gave me permission. However, as I was closing it, the man came out of the kitchen yelling, saying something along the lines of, “I don’t come to your workplace and do things without permission, so don’t close the window.” I explained that I had already spoken with the other employee and received her approval, but he didn’t seem to care.

Due to his behavior and how unwelcome we felt, I left only a $4 tip on a $56 bill to reflect the poor service and lack of hospitality in such an otherwise...

We live in Snowmass and order from Tasters quite often. Food quality and service has really been going downhill. Orders are often wrong and the customer service is downright rude.

Tonight (May 29th Sunday) we waited 1 hour 45 minutes for our order to be delivered. We paid $56 and left 20% gratuity. They forgot the salad and instead of cheesy garlic bread it was plain old and dried. We called back and the delivery driver said to call the owner Stacy on his cell phone at home if we have a problem. He was going to provide his cell. (Totally weird) We asked them to credit the salad but he couldn't do that and then he said they could possibly bring down the missed food. He said to stop eating and they would come pick the food up and then give us a refund. Then he said that the owner would call us. All very confusing customer service and a disappointed meal. Today was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review because I understand that things happen that are outside of one’s control, but we waited over an hour and 20 minutes for a single 18 inch to go pizza with no explanation. The restaurant is severely understaffed. I would have understood if they were up-front about the situation when we ordered and just said something like, “the wait today is longer than normal because we’re understaffed”. However, they were simply rude, forgot to put in our order, and then treated us like we were inconveniencing them when we asked about the status of our order after we had already waiting for an HOUR!!!!
