âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ A Hidden Gem in Sonoma Downtown â Worth Discovering!
Absolutely five-star food! Taste of the Himalayas delivers an authentic, home-style Himalayan feast with every dish bursting with flavor. Each bite feels like it was cooked with care in someoneâs kitchenânot a commercial kitchenâand the warmth of the hospitality matches the food.
A clever insiderâs tip: the restaurant is tucked right next to the Irish pub on the plaza, and could really use a sign to help newcomers find it easily. Once you know itâs there though, it becomes your go-to.
The best part? You get the best of both worldsâsip on exceptional cocktails, whiskey, wine, or beer at the pub, then walk right over for an affordable, soul-satisfying dinner. Itâs a rare combo thatâs perfect for locals and visitors alike.
Highly recommend if you want a flavorful escape from the usual wine country fare....

I have never had tandori that wasn't a flaming red colored or anything other than chicken. Here we had lamb tandori that came out sizzling on a platter, tender, fresh vegetables and well seasoned. The flecks of fresh mint all coming through. We also had Saag paneer and we could not decide between mild or hot and were offered to have the dish "medium hot". Another first. The spice heat was perfect and did not burn your mouth but left a nice warmth. This will definitely be a stop when we are back...
