Captain D's — Restaurant in South Carolina

I truly rate it 2.5. They don't follow instructions, and more than half the time, I'm dealing with attitude. Often, the battered & country fish is cooked too hard (when I request soft due to sensitive tooth), or the stuffed crab is barely edible b/c it's so hard, you can barely stick a fork in it. I get cold, soggy fries half the time, or dried-out thin fries. The other day, I waited 40 minutes after 5pm for two orders (same receipt). They usually take 7 minutes to have that same order ready. The most I've waited for an order there is 12 minutes. It was rush hour but still. I've had better luck at the Captain D's in Aiken and Anderson. I use to brag about the Captain D's in Greenwood being the best within a 50 mile radius back from 2014-2017. Not anymore. They've fallen WAY off. Well, I like to be greeted when I walk into a place of business so that I know I'm appreciated, I didn't get that (it's common now a days) however, the cashier was nice. Now, I didn't know that if I ordered to eat in the associates would bring the food out to me so, when an associate finally located me she teased me about not being in the right location and I replied and we had a good laugh for the day. That made me feel appreciated. Finally, the atmosphere was kinda bland and I think a little music would have helped. Maybe they don't play music because it seem as if the average customer (while I was there) is around 70 years of age and maybe they prefer no music. Anywho haha, I enjoyed the food and when I bit into the corn on the cob the juices erupted...

It was my first time eating there. It will be my last time eating there. Went through the drive through . We sat there 5 mins before our order was taken . We got to the window and the lady says $34.56. I was like what for a chicken str plate and a seafood platter? Wow!! Paid for the food anyways. Was asked to pull up and wait . We sat there 25 more mins waiting. (Wait for it!!) Yup when we hot the good it was COLD !! I OPENED MY MANS BOX WAS EXSPECTING A LARGE ORDER OF SEAFOOD .. there was 2 shrimps a tiny crab no oysters but there was a peice of fish a small order of ffs and one hushpuppy🤨😒😒. On the other hand the lady was very nice at the window. But I will have to give this place a 2 star . I will never ever eat...
