I've had the pleasure of being on both sides of the counter; I've worked here for some time and I've also been a customer here on a number of occasions. On today though, I gave the store a call and asked to speak to the MOD regarding a personal matter. I had the undesirable pleasure of speaking to Ms. Ashley. Thank God I do know and remember people's voices because not only did she not greet me when she got on the phone after I greeted her myself, but she never told me who I was speaking to. I actually had to ask was she Ms. Ashley. I said to her "Hi, this is Aqavia Rogers," and she was just silent. So I said I'm calling regarding such and such so she was like OK. I said I wanted to know if it had been filled out to say that I no longer work there. She says it would need to be filled out by the office, I told her my sister brought said form in and we didn't know it had to be sent there....she goes on to talk (mind you she's dragging and basically whispering) so I said to her excuse me I'm sorry, so she raises her voice to tell me that she cleaned her office today and she didn't see it or wasnt told anything about it. But I had to ask before the conversation ended why did she have to be so rude but to have a good day. She told me she was sorry I felt that way but I have a good day as well.
She was very rude and it was truly uncalled for. As I stated I've been a customer and an employee. It doesn't matter that I've worked there before, when I am not in a Dunkin Donut uniform or behind that counter, I should be shown the same respect as all other paid customers that come into that establishment. This isn't the first time though. Upper management would rather deal with that to have someone fill an assistant manager position while risking the loss of customers and crew members. They already have a high turnover rate; many people apply and are accepted for a position but many people resign. I was blessed to get the job when I got it; I appreciate Ms. Nicole, but I'm not a child and that's not how you do business. I'm prior service and I've actually re-enlisted into the Army, but I guarantee you, years from now if she (Ms. Ashley) isn't in the same place AT DUNKIN DONUTS she will be somewhere but have not gone far because she does not know how to treat customers nor the very people she works with and real companies do not allow that sort of behavior. It's one thing to use authority when you're dealing with a rude customer or employee, but I was never either of those. You don't just go around spreading your pessimist attitude because you're having a bad day. We all have them! Real managers and assistant managers know that! They know how to deal with the public in a PROFESSIONAL...
Read moreHad a problem with a donut I ordered , it looked like mold on the top. I.took it back to the store to get an exchange..the guy working the window immediately tells me he couldn't exchange the donut. I asked him to speak to the manager about it. He takes the donut to the manager and comes.back with the same donut and hands it back to me. He tells me that spot is where one of the eyes go to the spider donut I ordered during Halloween.. i.had ordered them before never saw anything like this and it was one spot not two. If it was where one of the eyes went then it should have looked like that in two spots for two eyes. All I wanted was an exchange and they wouldn't do that. Gave me the old one back.. I contacted the company and the manager for that store contacted me and did exchange the donut..and gave me a coffee for my trouble. Not sure a coffee on the house was worth my troubles. In several trips to the store and time to report the issue. When she first said they would like to.offer me a donut and beverage for my troubles..i asked if they were also going to exchange the donut I had the problem with as well.. Oh this donut I am offering you is the exchange for the one you had the problem with. So for my troubles all they offered was a beverage for the rude behaviour from their employees and not exchanging the donut. I did receive the beverage, ordered a coffee and omg it was the worse ever. It was suppose to be a decaf coffee, didn't taste decaf..it was strong tasting very bitter and the coffee was suppose to be hot it wasnt hot at all..Lukewarm when I got it. So i think it wasn't very fresh coffee? So now.i see dunkin donuts and keep on driving..left a bad experience and and bad...

We went through the drive-thru and ordered 12 chocolate sprinkle donuts. The employee taking the order struggled a bit, but we patiently double-checked to make sure the order was correct. After receiving the box at the window, we drove to the parking lot, since there were cars behind us, only to find that the box contained a random assortment of donuts — none of which anyone in our group liked.
We immediately went inside to address the issue. The store was understaffed, so I waited patiently. However, the employee (an Asian woman who had taken our order) completely ignored me while taking other orders and making drinks. She even helped another customer who arrived after me before finally acknowledging me.
When I explained the mistake and reiterated that we had specifically ordered 12 chocolate sprinkle donuts, she claimed she had added TWO chocolate sprinkle donuts to the box. I reminded her that we had ordered all 12 to be the same. I told her that the other donuts wouldn’t be eaten, and I’d essentially be throwing away 10 donuts, losing my money in the process. Her response? She refused to exchange the donuts, saying they couldn’t take them back and replace them with the ones we originally ordered, fixing HER mistake.
Is not that they didn't have enough chocolate with sprinkles donuts, so why put random flavors in the box against our order? This was incredibly frustrating, wasteful, and unprofessional. Never...
