Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in South Carolina

Found the food I ordered to be good. I would say better than Subway. However Subway, I think, has better wraps. I was disappointed in that the counter tops on which the servers put sandwiches together, were full of crumbs and pieces of food, obviously fallen off during sandwich preparation. Not a very good incentive for eating the food ordered and a draw for flying insects should any enter while the door is opened or shut by customers. Also, I found the 2 staff members making the sandwiches, unknowing about what they were serving. It was my first visit to a Jersey Mike's for example and I asked the person helping me what type of wrap he had. What was it made of? He did not know. The manager stayed at the cash station and lent no help. A customer came in and told her she had called and given an order to be picked up. The manager said they did not have that order on record. She told the customer to call other Jersey Mike's to see if they had the order. Not a good answer or help. Other Jersey Mike's were not close by. It would have been nice if the manager made the calls, or better yet - taken the order and sold it to the customer. I believe Jersey Mike's management would agree. The customer was a mature seemingly intelligent person who insisted she ordered from the Jersey Mike's she was in. She really didn't want to drive many miles away, eat up more time to go to a different JM's. She let the manager know, this was the last visit she would make to the chain. I love jersey mike I eat there a lot and it has good quality. Sadly there has been a lot of new people that work there and the service has gone down the drain. Every time I go in there is an older blond lady that sounds a little bit like a New Yorker. So I got my food to go because I didn't want to have to sit there with her aditued with me. She wasn't nice or pleacent at all. I also was enjoying my food in my car because I couldn't take sitting down in there. That's when I found a blond hair in my food. It was so gross. I get things happen from time to time I worked in the restaurant business. But when someone has their hair hanging over their shoulder and over your food all messy and not pulled up to prevent that, it's not okay. This lady needs to learn how to do her hair right to prevent this going forward. Like I said it happens but if your asking for trouble you will get trouble. So I only give it a two start because I had bad service and my sandwich was ruined. I hope y'all do something about how they should wear their hair so that In the future this won't happen so...

What ever crew was in there today should never be allowed to work together again. I was never gonna get a sandwich out of there. So dysfunctional. A Uber eats guy was trying to use google translate to communicate and the worker said if you came to America speak English. Which prompted another worker to cause a scene and say over 10 times you can say that to a customer. Then there was a new hire just tryna learn and have him a job and all this dysfunction is around him how could you even learn in that environment. Then the girl slicing the meat was whispering after you’d order asking you questions. It was the wildest thing I’ve ever seen in there. They should all be fired. No one cared about people getting their food. Or people who might be on lunch break with limited time. Ive always loved the crew in there but idk who them people was.
