Wendy's — Restaurant in South Carolina

I’ve been getting food from this place for about 3 yrs or more sometimes 2 meals a day. I’ve never had a problem until now. The 1st time a few weeks ago I came in the night shift it was a light skinned young man after I placed my order me and my daughter was standing there waiting and right in front of me he put his hands down his pants and instantly I was like nah let me get my money back. Well a few weeks passed I took a chance stopped in I saw him back there and was gonna leave but the manager was like I got ya and I’ll make the food. So I was like cool thank you cause I don’t trust him. Well I was waiting and he made a point of coming from the back up near the drive thru window and turned towards me smirking. I found that super disrespectful especially when I have my special needs teen with me. So I asked what’s so funny he replied I can laugh or smile and I said not at me. So all of a sudden he said something smart and puff his chest up at me while they was pulling him back. Like is this kids seriously tripping I wasn’t even gonna say anything to him until he just started staring and smirking. Like you really want food with someone acting like that then the girl in the drive through started going on towards me talking about your a grown man and he 16. But he the 1 acting childish he could have easily stayed in the back let the manager fixed my food and everyone happy. But he smarted off because he in the wrong and the manager and other girl was like he always doing smiling like that. But when someone put they hands they pants you come back someone else offer to make the food but then you take the time to walk up and smirk at the customer while I’m waiting. You don’t need a job if I done some mess like that to him in front of him I wouldn’t blame him for being mad at me either and I wouldn’t even had came up front and smiled like it was funny. Be professional not child like I came to get food not that petty crap. Now I gotta go to Pelham rd where people act professional and friendly. Not do something wrong and get mad when the person they wronged say something back because the staring and smirking while they say that’s just him. And to buck up in front of my kid like and my son talking about them other dudes just staring...

Unfortunately I can’t give 0 stars! The hygiene of this place is disgusting! The people that work there have really bad attitudes esp the teens working there. I went to get 3 chili’s and a French fry and got nasty greasy soup so greasy the outside of the top to the container was greasy! The fries were cold too. The manager just acting nonchalant like she doesn’t care. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues there at this location it’s continuously disgusting with bad attitudes and nasty food. The grease leaked out down the container and through the bag and onto my clothes and my car seat and the manager said she didn’t see how that happened! Horrible. I took it back and got my money back. The bad thing is I used to work at this location when I was a teenager and the guy over us then (I didn’t put his name here because I don’t want to cause issues) didn’t let any of this happen, he held high standards and expected us to meet the chilli was made fresh daily and was never greasy we kept the restaurant floors tables everything clean and we didn’t come in there with piercings everywhere in our faces and definitely not bad attitudes. We didn’t serve cold food, we were taught to think about how Dave wanted his customers treated and we treated them...

While I enjoy the food here, and the new design on the inside, it doesn't dismay the problem I have experienced here. The main issue I have is every time I go in, there is no soap in the bathroom. Now think about this... an employee or customer goes to the bathroom and takes a #2... then they do not wash their hands cause there's no soap... then they touch everything in the restaurant... disgusting!

I expressed my concerns to management. They "seemed" receptive, and said they would take care of it immediately. I stayed at the restaurant for an hour and they never once went into the bathroom to put in soap.

So I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and went back a 2nd time a few weeks later and again NO SOAP in the bathroom. THIS IS A RESTAURANT. You are handling food. How can you have no soap in the bathroom with employees there all day!?!? Does this not disgust anyone else?

Anyway, I'm disgusted by this, and the management does not give a crap to do anything about it. So obviously they don't care about my health or my business. Not...
