I wish there was a negative button for customer service. It took 32 minutes to receive cold food. I ordered online at 1:17 p.m. I arrived at 1:25 and told him that I was here to pick up my food, I was promptly told it would take 8 minutes to have the nuggets cooked. I was not given an option to order anything else or receive replacement. So I sat there in front of the registers and waited and waited. The cashier was shouting periodically "I need those nuggets", and the kitchen would mumble something back. At 1:47 I complained saying I can't wait for my food anymore and they were searching for my order. My order was sitting in the to-go shelf. Someone had put my order there and forgot to call my name or my order number. There were a few other people waiting for their orders as well. No names were called. Being this disorganized takes a special skill and the people that Popeyes have mastered it. Fortunately there was misery with company. The guy behind me was waiting 15 minutes for his wings that he ordered. When he spoke up, they informed him they only had four wings left. Why would you wait till someone speaks up to tell them that they couldn't have their order? And complaining to the online ordering system is just a robot that just gives random refunds for any complaints. Nobody cares about the service, nobody cares about their job or their performance or the cold food or the waiting. I hope the management reads this terrible review and has a team huddle. Maybe they should re-explain that when the food is ready you should call out their name or order number and saying the food's ready. Or if you know somebody's waiting 30 minutes for nuggets that you probably should just hand it to them. If you know that you're behind in orders and it takes eight plus or 30 minutes to make food, you should let the customer know and offer either a refund or exchange something else and its place. That would be the right thing to do instead of telling people that they need to wait and turn your back on them. I hope corporate reads this and let's the local store know that this shouldn't be the way you treat people and maybe assigns a regional manager to have the entire staff retrained in the ways the...
Read morePerfectly crispy chicken, better than Kentucky Fried Chicken. Great French fries. BUT YOU MIGHT NEVER GET IT. You hear about McDonald's never having ice cream but they at least have burgers. At McDonald's unavailability is normally limited to ice cream. But here, their list of unavailable food is a lot longer, depending on what you want and when you want it.
First off try and order a chicken sandwich, it goes fine until you ask for no pickle. They didn't say we can't take off the pickle they just said no sandwiches period. Ok. We called the same store right afterwards and chicken sandwiches where very much available. Enough available that one of us went in and ordered without them saying anything. And by the way they made one without pickle. Somehow they managed to stock up on sandwiches in less than 30 minutes. They must have gotten them airmailed from the airport down the road. Or more likely the person inside was more ambitious than the person at the drive-through window.
Another time they couldn't do that order because they said they where shutting things down for the night, you know how restaurants turn things off a little early because it takes time to do it all. Only this was over an an hour before closing. Ya a little strange.
And these two incidents are only some of them. They might not have any more of a certain thing cooked so they say they are out without giving the option to wait for them to make some more. Probably more not wanting to work than not wanting the customer to wait. So ya the food is good when you get it. The service, if you are ever served, is another thing. So if you don't mind waiting, being told they don't have anything whenever you ask for a large or special order at the drive-through, and sometimes taking what seems like hours to finally get you order through the drive-through attendant's head, then try you luck at it. But if you don't have unlimited patience, I would highly recommend to take your chances going in or go to that iconic place that offers finger lickn good chicken down the road. Just a friendly warning.
Update: They still have...
Read moreUsually I would give Popeyes 4 stars; 4 Stars and not 5 because no matter what day or time of the day I decide to eat here, my order is always screwed up or missing something. How hard is it for y'all to read your computers and fill the bag with those exact items.. it's not rocket science.
So, today i ordered a Medium #7 with coleslaw as the side; and the second was a "Tenders 2 Can Dine" meal.. the second meal i substituted some sides for more fries. When we drove to the pick-up window and drove off to park and eat.. come to find out we were missing food; when my mother looks over at me an just states.. "I told you they'd mess it up, they always mess it up".. what does that say about your restaurant?! Seriously, the phrase "They always mess it up".. maybe you need retrain your staff or hire other employees! So anyways, we were missing our "side items".. i told mom that "they're not getting away with this again.. not AGAIN, we are gonna get what we paid for"! So i walked in, which i don't like to do anymore because covid.. patiently waited in line; after getting up to the counter, i explained the situation.. the cashier Mark stated that the first meal doesn't automatically come with fries, which i thought was odd cause they've always given me fries w/o asking on previous occasions.. but i was right about them still missing food because the second meal was missing the fries as well. Cashier Mark gave me a box after arguing with me.. a little later i realized that my Mother had asked for coleslaw as her side instead of fries.. Mark who stated he had been working there since day one, should have calmly explained that to me instead of arguing with me.
An to top all of this interaction off, while I was waiting in line; a large man with Chicago Bulls Jacket with "Rose" on back was walking around the registers and food with NO MASK!!! Are you F'king kidding me???!!!
(Sarcasm) Great employees you got at that...
