If I could give negative Stars I would. I have never been treated so poorly or humiliated the way I was tonight. Moe gives Big Daddy's a horrible name and if this man is turkey the manager I highly suggest this be rethought. I went in to pick up pizza for my disabled mother tonight she had ordered extra icing which was not provided, upon having to drive all the way back and go into the store Mo was very cruel and rude and completely questioned my integrity even after I provided the name that the order was under I gave it to him and he continued to tell me that it was extra marinara ordered which he kept saying was provided yes he is right about that we had ordered 2 of both. He should have read down farther he would have seen the order for extra icing he Kept telling me that i was wrong. The way this man treats women is not okay. He felt that he was in the right. And he did not like when I told him he needed to read down farther which Clear as day on the receipt stated extra icing he was condescending and very rude I told him that the customer is supposed to always be right and he begrudgingly went back and got only one extra icing but there was 3 ordered he refused to give it to me. I asked him what he was going to do for me since I had to waste my time and my gas. Not only that but I was missing out on eating the pizza that my children and Mom were going to be eating. We were supposed to have a fun night watching the jazz game and he totally ruined that. he thought he was in the right and that there was no extra order of icing I asked him for a copy of the receipt. Not only did I see the request for two extra Marinera there was also a request as well as the charges for the extra icing. I went back in there to show him by this point I was very heated because him and the man next to the counter were making rude comments and laughing at me I proceeded to show the customer a copy of the receipt because Mo had told him that it wasn't ordered. Basically telling him that I was a liar and trying to get something for free however I could tell he felt bad after I showed him the receipt with the charges clearly on there. My poor disabled mother called into the store and requested her money for the entire meal to be comped. We had ordered the food tonight to go along with the jazz game I was not allowed to see the start of the jazz game nor was I even hungry any longer after being treated so poorly my mother called and spoke to Moe who refused to provide his hire ups information and then proceeded to start in on her parenting telling her what a bad parent she was because I raised my voice at him after he laughed at me this was completely unprofessional it is on video camera and I really don't think the Big Daddy chain would ever allow this type of horrible customer service. I am Absolutely appalled. I want to know what is going to be done to ensure this horrible man never treats someone this way ever again he said that he was the manager and then he said he was the owner because I think he started to get scared when I told him I was going to make sure that his higher-ups heard about this. which I highly highly doubt there is no way that this mean man could possibly be the owner my family owns many businesses and you do not treat customers that way. I will be notifying this company I do not feel they deserve to use the big daddy name as they clearly drug it through the dirt tonight. After making several attempts to find out who the owner of this store is that is when he finally said he was the owner I do not believe him he then said that he would comp a breadstick which to me is even more condescending and offensive. My humiliation is worth much more than a breadstick him telling my mom that she needs to learn how to be better parent to treat me how to talk to someone is absolutely uncalled for and I wait to see what will be done about this. As you can see I rarely leave a poor review my history is flooded with positive reviews but...
Read morePizza is great but customer service is trash. The website said they do curbside and I have a bad back. I came to pick up for a large order for work and the man who picked up (Steven or Stefen i couldn't understand what Mario was saying) refused to help saying it was really busy in the store. I parked next to boost mobile and watched as a few people left out each with a few items, nothing bigger than the items I purchased. When i waled in there was one couple sitting at the table and a woman standing. I asked the man at the counter if he was the one who picked up when i called and he said he wasn't I asked who was it because i was going to complain since I was told it was really busy inside and it was not. He then tried to argue with me about how busy he was and I asked for his name as well because I did not like the way he was speaking to me. He then tried to say that there were big delivery orders that just left when as I said I watched the people leaving and they did not have more than my almost 60 doller order. Ridiculous. The score is for customer service and lying online. Change your options online if you won't help customers who sign up for curbside. Many of us actually need assistance. Also I worked in customer service for almost since I was 16and although I no longer have to, I still treat people with respect and when I did work with customers I never had a complaint about how I spoke to anyone. The lady who worked in the back was the only who treated me like a customer and I walked away angry to get my soda and I do apologize to her for not being as respectful as I could have been. I was upset and it wasn't her fault at all; everyone else (it was only 3 working as far as I could tell) needs training. I also had to return that night because they forgot one of my pizzas. Mario, who i later found out was the GM, did not answer my call but promptly answered when i had a co worker call. He told me to just say mario the gm mad you a pizza ahd they will give it to you. I went and parked in the same spot by the boost mobile and noticed that Mario was moping. I called to tell him he could just bring it to the door so i wouldn't mess up the floor and i watched as he stopped moping, walked to the counter where the phone was and then turn around and continue moping. That was the final straw for me. The fact that your gm acts this childish over your website offering curbside and the store not providing the service. I mean i put in my car information and said i would call when i was outside. I never ate the pizza because i do not trust it. I only came to this one because the one closer to my job closed earlier. I never had this issue at that one. This location has horrible leadership. The website needs to be changed to offer your customers clarity and you need to train no only your employees but your gm. Honestly to be treated in such a disgusting manner was out of line. If it was for just me i would have requested my money back but it was for my staff who was already waiting. What should have been an easy thing for my coworkers became a horrid experience because of perceived laziness and an obvious lack of simple common courtesy. My ticket...
Read moreI ordered a few pizzas yesterday and didn't enjoy my experience.
The pizza itself was disappointing to me after how much my friends told me they loved Big Daddy's. The flavor was mediocre, the crust tasted bland. I didn't even like the side marinara sauce to dip food in. Their breadsticks were pretty neat, they were really greasy though.
The first person who answered the phone sounded rude and annoyed. When asking how much I'd like to tip, he interrupted me to remind me about how their drivers are doing contactless delivery now, so how much would I like to tip? He didn't tell me the estimated delivery time until AFTER he processed my payment. I wished he had set that expectation with me before rushing the end of the phone call.
Because I wanted to change my order from delivery to carryout, I called back to request that change and ask if I could be reimbursed for any delivery fees, so he had to get someone else to help me. He left the phone on instead of muting it or putting it on hold, which made me feel awkward. Even though I couldn't clearly hear conversations in their store, I could hear him talking to someone else.
I ended up talking to Berta, who said she was the assistant manager. She addressed my concern about how the delivery time wasn't mentioned until after the payment was processed, and said that they'll try to be better at giving those estimated before payment. She mentioned that when they have multiple deliveries, then delivery can take up to 45-60 minutes, but when they have only one delivery, it can be closer to 30 minutes. She said that I was the only delivery scheduled... so I'm still confused as to why I was given such a long estimated time.
Because I changed my order to pickup, Berta told me that some of the pizzas had special pickup discounts. Some of the pizzas were basically half-off! In the moment, it seemed really neat to get a big discount. But it made me wonder why a 12 inch pizza would be $7.99-$8.99 to pickup and $15.99 to deliver, when I'm sure there are extra delivery fees. The person who recommended Big Daddy's to me was sure that their lower prices were their usual price, which makes it seem that this isn't a seasonal discount but something they do all the time. It isn't bad per se, I just wish that I knew about it beforehand.
I really appreciated talking to Berta on the phone though, because she was patient and explained the wait times and prices thoroughly to me.
Even though I was able to talk to the assistant manager about my concerns, I still didn't really enjoy my first impression of Big Daddy's. Maybe my experiences will change with them, which would be great, but that will...
