They have a sign that says 1 cook, 1 wok, 1 server, please be patient. There is only so much a person can wait. My partner and I ordered 6 dimsum dishes and a vegetable dish. Took over a half hour to get any of our food, then every 15 minutes or so they would bring out another thing of our food. We where there for over 1.5 hours and we never got one of the dimsum we ordered or the vegetable dish. It took over 40 minutes to get our drinks. Half of the tables were empty. The food we did get was super hit or miss, chicken feet was good, all the rest was bland and flavorless. I added the chili oil to everything and it was sweet and mild in spice. Another customer asked if they have anything hotter and they said no. They need to do one of four things from my perspective: down size the menu to only similar items so they can put it our faster, or decrease tables so they dont have too many customers at once, or hire more staff, or automate more of the cooking process. Any of these things would seriously help with flow of customers and food. Not sure what they can do about the bland flavor of the food, im not a pro cook and dont feel comfortable giving advice on that. We payed over 60 dollars and left still hungry. Never...
Read moreDon't get me wrong the food here is great, but the service is the worst I have ever recieved. My guest and I were seated at the restaurant for an hour before they got any food out to us. When they did finally get food to us, it was 1 of the dim sums we had ordered. 2 bites a piece, after an hour of waiting. It was impossible to talk to the server. We finally decided to ask the waitress how long our food would take, to which she let us know that the food we had ordered was actually no longer available. During the hour we were waiting for food, she did not even come to tell us some of the food we had ordered was not available until we asked. They didn't get the last thing we ordered out to us until after we had been here for an hour and a half. We could have finished our meal and been on our way in an hour and a half. Again, the food is great but I recommend...
Read moreWe came here for dinner on 2 out of 5 days in SLC. As many of the reviews have stated, it’s one cook, one wok and one server. It’s a pity they’re so understaffed, because the quality of the food is top notch. We had the century egg porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥) twice, the wanton noodles, kailan with oyster sauce and the claypot with preserved duck. All came out after a long wait piping hot and perfect for a family who had just eaten 5 days straight of burgers and potatoes in Yellowstone. To top it all off, it is almost criminally cheap. Our meal cost $28+ for 3 people. Tipped them generously of course, but no amount of money will cut the stress of staff shortage. I’m giving this 4 stars out of the hope that the owner might see this and rectify...
