My waitress was not very friendly or personable. She never checked to see if we needed anything. We needed drinks and our cups were empty and she never asked if we would like more to drink . When I ordered my dinner . I asked her if the dish i was choosing was spicy at all because my stomach can't handle spicy heat. She said no. I started eating and my mouth was burning and tonight my stomach is on fire . And now I'm suffering with my stomach. My husband usually eats his fries and take his main course home for later. Well when we asked for a container / she asked how many and I said only one because mine was to spicy and I couldn't eat it. She didn't seem affected by this. If I was a waitress and I saw that on one plate, the main course was left untouched and the other plate was hardly ate at all. I would ask if something was a wrong with the food and if there was anything I could do to make things ok. She didn't even seem to take notice or even care. She went and got the one container and I had to ask for the bill. I didn't give this young lady much of a tip because I feel she didn't deserve it. My stomach is in knots and burning. She honestly didn't deserve anything. I am not unsatisfied with the food or atmosphere. Really nice place and very clean. But it was more about the waitress being so uneducated about patrons satisfaction. She should of told me that chicken quesadilla salad was not just a little spicy. She ensured me that it was not spicy at all . And I paid 1.00 for a damn teaspoon...
Read moreApplebee's has consistently been one of our favorite dining options, but unfortunately, our recent experiences have been disappointing. We have encountered several issues, including finding hair in our food and receiving undercooked fried fish. During our most recent visit, my broccoli was served at a higher temperature than my loaded mashed potatoes. When I politely requested hot loaded mashed potatoes, the individual who appeared to be the manager brought out a plate that was so hot that it looked like it was burning her hands. This strongly suggests that the potatoes had been microwaved for an excessive amount of time. In addition to being excessively hot, the mashed potatoes lacked the expected sour cream topping. At that point, I was unsure if I would have even wanted the sour cream due to the temperature of the dish. Furthermore, we had to specifically request utensils, and our drinks were not refilled. Throughout our meal, there was no inquiry from the staff regarding our satisfaction or if we required anything else. When we decided to take our remaining food to go, no bag was offered to us. Despite the unsatisfactory service, my grandmother, being the kind-hearted person she is, still left a 20% tip for the waitress, assuming that it might have been her first day on the job. However, it is evident that she would benefit from additional training to improve the overall dining experience...
Read moreWe came to this location on 7/4/23 around 7:40pm. They had a sign on the door saying that they’ll be closing at 8pm due to the Fourth of July holiday. We were more than okay with this, but asked the hostess just to be sure. She told us that it would be okay for them to take us. We reluctantly said okay, and she took us to be seated. Immediately, our waitress was rude and barely said a word to us. As we were waiting for our food, we overheard staff talking about us. “There is a sign on the door for a reason.”, and “Well I can’t leave because I still have a table.” At this point, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. We also overheard the bartender take a phone call and tell the person on the other end of the phone, “I’m stuck at work because people decide to come in right before close.” We ended up waiting for our food and immediately asking for a box. I tried to mention the comment I heard to the waitress, and she walked away from me mid sentence. We packed up our meals without even taking a single bite, and left. I understand that the wait staff would like to enjoy their holiday, but they shouldn’t have taken us at that point. This was very disappointing, and...
