Man, Firehouse has gone downhill a lot since the last time I've been there. 5 people behind the counter, 1 making subs, 1 at the register, and the rest just hanging out. All 5 contributed to the conversation they were having. Felt like an eternity before our food was ready. Definitely longer than a normal wait, but could have went faster if the others actually helped. Got the steak and cheese with the new fries w/ hero sauce. Sub was 80% bread, 20% ingredients. Felt robbed just from the portion size, but then it was barely warm, so that twisted the knife a bit more. Reg fries took up a whole basket by themselves, and all I got for the sauce was this tiny little container barely enough for 3-4 fries. Was told it would be extra for more mayo, I mean... Hero sauce. Literally just mayo in a tiny container. I'm not against mayo and fries, but again, the portion was insulting to the amount of fries I got. I've been to firehouse across the country from New Orleans, LA to Chicago, IL; San Diego, CA to Virginia Beach, VA and everywhere I'm between and I've never seen the type of service displayed here. I complained received and email from corporate office that stated I would be provided a $25 gift card and that management had changed manager on duty after my prior customer service experience when I returned employees were still bunched together and not working efficient. The manager stated she had no knowledge of my email and would contact her district manager and follow up with me. At no point in time did anyone ever follow up to verify email. I don't know who is running this place, but trust and believe they received my last nickel and will never get another dime out of me. *UPDATE It has been over 6 months and I still have not been contacted by ANYONE to resolve this matter.
