We were traveling through the area and staying at a nearby hotel, so I ordered online and picked the food up curbside. We arrived a few minutes before the estimated time it was supposed to be ready, checked in and ended up having to wait another 20-25 minutes. When it arrived, the lady who brought it didn't even offer an apology for the wait. She wasn't exactly rude, but she wasn't very friendly either, but acknowledging that she realized someone's order took twice as long as it was supposed to means a lot. We ordered the children's sirloin with baked sweet potato and parmesan crusted chicken with loaded baked potato and a salad with blue cheese. The loaded baked potato was very cold, colder than room temperature. Not sure if it had been stored in a fridge or if it sat out and the air conditioner was just blowing on it for a while, but a baked potato should be warm enough to melt the butter. The sweet potato wasn't as bad. It wasn't hot, but tasted fine at room temperature. The steak was cold which made it a little tough to eat. It did have decent flavor though and was cooked to the requested doneness. I get the parmesan crusted chicken almost every time I go to Longhorn and have never been disappointed until I ordered it at this location. It was horrible! I've Uploaded a picture and you can see that it looks nothing like it should. It was burned on the bottom and the top looked and tasted nothing like it usually does. The cheese was almost a paste consistency, cold and congealed. Just not good at all. I ended up scraping it off and cutting the burnt part off, so had very little to eat. Maybe it was just an off night, but if this location is always this bad, I would recommend going anywhere else. There are too many good choices in that area, so don't waste your money here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area! If you’re looking for a quality, down home dinner then look no further. They know how to treat a steak here! I admit I usually order the Parmesan chicken, which is the BEST I have had anywhere, and then give my husband the “look” to get a bite or two of his steak. Their mashed potatoes are SO good. I usually don’t compliment or focus on the side dishes but here they are always treated with respect and not an afterthought. I love the asparagus as well. They serve you warm bread and fresh sweet cream butter as you wait on your food. The service is always friendly and respectful. I will say that this place is known to get crowded especially on Friday and Saturday nights, so make a reservation if you can or come early! Otherwise you will wait! Yes, it’s that good! The appetizers are ok, I’ve tried a few, the onion with the dipping sauce-it was “ok” but wasn’t worth the price in my opinion, I’ve tried the nachos or cheese dip whatever it was called and it definitely wasn’t worth it. I’ve had their strawberry chicken salad, not sure what it was called or if they even have it anymore, but it used to be my number one choice for a late lunch or dinner date!

The whole restaurant seemed to be completely overwhelmed and disorganized. Waited at our table for a server to come greet us for approximately 15 minutes. Finally got water and our order in. Didn’t get bread until we asked for it - after appetizer was brought out. No rolled silverware, brought us plastic utensils. Had to ask for real sliver wear when our entrees came because how are you supposed to cut a steak with a plastic a knife? Waiter was MIA most of time we were there. Two plain clothed guys were walking around (I assume were managers) but never once checked on any customers. Finally got our food both steaks were cooked incorrectly, one overcooked the other undercooked. Chopped steak was swimming in grease (see photo). This was removed from the bill after I flagged the waiter down. Bathroom was disgusting! Toilet paper and trash everywhere. Urine on the seat and floor. I have enjoyed Longhorn in the past but this visit was a complete dumpster fire!

My husband and I visited this location this evening. We are huge fans of Longhorn. So we knew exactly what we wanted and what to expect. We have never visited this location but since we were in the area we went ahead and stopped by. Wait was an hour long (we didn’t mind). We finally got to our table. They were out of the two things that we wanted (ribeye & spinach; that was fine) Placed an order for a different appetizer and drinks. Drinks were watered down we didn’t complain. Bread comes out (20-30 mins of already sitting at the table) another 30 mins rolls in and our food comes out… my 1 of my kids order came out wrong (no problem asked for it to be corrected) after the situation is handled waitress comes out (yea we’re going to get that fixed for you but I wasn’t told grilled 🤨. You were but again that’s okay; just wanted it corrected. My food comes out… IT IS COLD. I’m like okay, I”be been sitting here patiently waiting haven’t complained and the food is cold. My husbands steak wasn’t made correctly. I asked for it to be fixed.. as requested. What do they do… BRING OUT THE SAME FOOD WE HAD ALREADY TOUCHED! Which is unacceptable! You are supposed to toss any food sent back to the kitchen. Both of our dishes came back warmed up in the same manner that we gave back to them. DISGUSTING, PROVES POOR MANAGEMENT & LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF FOOD SAFETY! When I spoke to management, guess what food still came back the same and she obviously was used to it being done. This was possibly the worst experience and horrible decision on coming to this location! They will get you sick! The whole meal should have been comped due to the negligence of this restaurant, there were other tables complaining about the same thing as well tonight and for the waitress to speak for the cook and say “well this is what we do” and each and every one of you who agrees are wrong and need to be retrained. It was a busy night like most restaurants on a Sunday but hey i guess let’s throw away food safety because we’re to busy to think about what’s right from wrong! We won’t be returning. There are other locations that care about their customers. I will be reaching out to the Department of Health as well. If we are coming to spend our hard earned money and time, the least you can provide is food safety! No debate when it comes to...

Never again! One star is a bit much for this place. First off our party of 7 was seated at 2 different tables. When I asked for the tables to be put together I was told 'I transferred to this location and they are the only ones who do don't allow that.' Ok we moved on. Only for the waitress to get more and more rude by the second. While sitting we noticed the receipt for the previous diners sitting on the table still. Name and info say there for our entire meal. They purposely wrote a big zero for the tip so I see they must have endured nonsense as well. The waitress then told us we had TWO minutes to order our food. This was two in the afternoon so not close to closing time so the timing wasn't as issue. She returned in two minutes with 'so what do you want '. I wanted to leave then but it was my son's 18tb birthday and all he wanted was a steak from this place. He had gone to a longhorn previously and thought it was good. I'm not a steak eater myself so I couldn't relate. The only star I wanted to give was for his food because that was the only thing anyone enjoyed. Lobster and shrimp bisque with no lobster or shrimp. $8 boxed kraft Mac and cheese. Dry salmon. Couldn't even keep water on the table. We did what we could to make sure our son had a good time because that's what it was really about but we will never waste another family gathering or dollar in this place. There are plenty of places around that would be better than here so go to any of them first. I wouldn't subject my dog to this place!

Oh and yes I did speak with the manager to no avail. She told us that we couldn't push the tables together because of their policy so we squeezed together at one table and put the smallest child in a highchair. She returned to tell us that the child can't block the isle even though there was a chair there initially. Seems they were far more concerned with chair placement than service so I didn't call her back over to discuss her terrible wait staff because I really don't like to waste my own time if I can help it. Run and save yourselves the...

Disappointing Experience at Long Horn Restaurant

Rating: ⭐ (1 star)

Date of Visit: April 6, 2024

My party and I recently visited Long Horn Restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening, expecting a pleasant dining experience. However, our visit was marred by extremely poor service that left us feeling disrespected and undervalued as customers.

Upon being seated at our table, we were greeted by a server who displayed a shocking lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. Not only did she roll her eyes upon approaching our table, but she also neglected to introduce herself, provide menus, or even offer a simple greeting. Instead, she dropped the menus and silverware on our table and walked away without a word.

Throughout the course of our meal, our server remained uncommunicative and indifferent to our needs. Despite our attempts to engage with her and place our orders, she appeared disinterested and provided subpar service. Our appetizers were served late, nearly an hour after ordering, and one of the items was missing entirely. When we brought this to her attention, she responded with excuses rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue.

Furthermore, we were disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment or gratitude from our server when presented with the bill. As frequent patrons of Long Horn Restaurant, we expect to be treated with respect and appreciation, neither of which was extended to us during this visit.

Overall, our experience at Long Horn Restaurant was deeply unsatisfactory. The poor quality of service and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff member we encountered reflect poorly on the establishment as a whole. As such, I cannot recommend Long Horn Restaurant to others and hope that management takes steps to address these issues promptly.

In conclusion, if you're seeking a dining experience characterized by courtesy, professionalism, and respect for the customer, I suggest...
