Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Southaven

I admittedly went late atlfter getting off of work, I arrived at 10:30 and ordered a #1 without tomatoes or pickles and a large tatortots w/cheese along with a Dr.Pepper. I had to hit the call button after they turned the lights off being that I had already paid via credit card and was told that they were close, to which I responded by telling them my order and that it had been placed and paid for at 10:30 at which time I was told ok, your order is still in the "kitchen" being made. I finally received my order at 11:10. I immediately checked to see if it was hot. The tatertots were fresh and very hot but the burger was cold to the touch. When I arrived home I opened the burger to find what at first appeared to have no lettuce or onion, but upon flipping the bun over saw that there was a lettace,mayonnaise, and onion paste stuck flat to the bottom of the top bun. It had no cheese which I ordered and the paste substance on the bun when the bun was removed did not even leave remnants on the burger patter after being on there for at least my 10 min trip home, the burger patty was clean with nothing on it which is very odd that not even the mayonnaise didn't even transfer onto the burger. I did not even feel like it was safe to eat and suspect that it had been pre-made hours before and possible even taken out of the trash bin after I called to check on my order instead of making me a fresh one being that they clearly lost/misplaced/or disregarded my order and had to throw something together quickly being that I'd already paid for my order. I will not be back to that location and really feel cheated and like I deserve a refund or credit to use at the Getwell and Goodman location which is my normal home location anyway being that I had previously had similar service at the Airways and Goodman location in Southaven, Ms...

If I could give this place no stars I truly would. Take this 100% truth from me because I know this for a fact, it's nasty inside they don't use gloves when making food. Slushy machine when witnessed it was disgusting with black goo clumped inside of knob. Dead roaches in ice and cups are being reused after being on floor wet with dirt inside. They just rinse them out with no soap. No one washes their hands AT ALL so I'm not surprised someone in the reviews got food poisoning. When making drinks if they put the wrong fruit in side they'll dip their fingers in it to get them out still they don't use gloves. If you order just ice they pay the ice down with their bare hands. Your drinks 9/10 even shakes ice cream and all they have touched it with their nasty hands. This place is disgusting. Disgusting attitudes, insane amount of time that you have to wait for simple things they're forgetful all of them come there on drugs and they play all day long inside that's why it takes so long they throw food at each other and it's just insane that this place is still running and being allowed to serve food. Management is rude and act like they are not they laugh with the staff and there's no order or respect!!! Pay attention and you'll see. Justin is not fit to manage anyone he can't even resolve a complaint. I came here this morning and ordered two large cokes. When I arrived no more than 3 or 4 people were there. I buzzed them after waiting 15 mins and asked , where is my drink. I said I didn't order food I only ordered two drinks. Justin response was I only have one carhop the other employees called in and we have to get the food cooked. Really! The last time I checked once the food is in the grease it cooks itself. So your going to just stand their the whole time while food is cooking instead of condensing down your line by giving out drink or ice cream orders to customer who only order drinks or ice cream. I am very irritated because I burned my gas to get their and left with no drinks after 15 mins. I deserve better treatment.

As for Justin, if you don't care about your customers, change your job and not work with the public.

If he resolve all issues that way then that explains why workers didn't come in on his shift, but if you read previous reviews they never have any workers and people have waited 20 - 30 mins or more just for food. This place needs to be shut down if they can't get food out and keep enough workers because apparently people are not wanting to work their for a reason. I never have this problem at chick-fil-A.
