BJ's has awesome food but the service was absolutely awful (the hostess who greeted us was wonderful and very nice). We went at 2:00 pm and the restaurant was maybe half full at most. We sat down and were passed by 4+ servers who just looked at us and continued walking. 15 minutes later our server came by and asked us for our order. Since we had quite some time to look at the menu, we wanted to go ahead and order our food too so we could minimize our wait time. When we told our waitress, she wouldn't let us and said she was going to get our drinks first. After taking our drink order, she proceeded to greet and take orders for a table of 4 that had JUST sat down mere seconds ago (keep in mind that this was 15 minutes after we had been seated). After taking their order, she disappeared for another 10 minutes and she served the other table before us even though we had waited much longer. She placed our drinks on the table and once again, didn't take our food order. She left again making us wait even longer. She then went to another table and took their drink orders! She couldn't take our food order but went directly to another table to take their drink order. They also got to order their appetizer with their drinks unlike when she told us we couldn't. We then watched the table of 4 receive their food before us even though we were a party of 2 that ordered before them. When we got our food, one of the orders was incorrect. We had ordered a burger without tomatoes and mayo. When we got the burger it only had meat and the bun. It was completely bare. The kitchen hadn't put anything on it. The waitress had to go to the back and get the missing lettuce and onion to bring to our table. Once we were done, we got our pizookie (the manager had told us if we download the BJs app, we would get it for free. And if we had problems downloading it, just let our server know and they would take care of it). When trying to download the app, we had issues because the service was very weak inside the building. We told the server this and she said okay no problem. She then comes back to the table and tells us that the manager needs us to download the app so she can see it when she had told us otherwise on our initial entrance (the app was taking so long to download due to the service). This was so frustrating as the manager was contradicting her initial statement. We then tried downloading it again and spent 15 minutes waiting for it to download just to have the server come by and tell us the manager took care of it. It was yet another wasted 15 minutes. This was unbelievable customer service and just downright bad. I will not be returning to this location as it's clear that their focus isn't on customer service. Completely turned off by this and that we were shoved in a back corner and ignored for 20+ minutes. Our servers...

We visited the Southlake location after not being there for many months. The host seated us promptly and our server arrived to take our drink orders and asked if we wanted any appetizers. Drinks and food arrived promptly, but after I'd had a few sips of my porter, I noticed something crawling out or the foam up the side of the glass. Upon closer inspection I saw not one, but several large gnats in my drink. I'm rather observant and there were no flying insects at our table, so I'm pretty sure they came with the beer. Once able to summon the server and explain the issue, he apologized and took it away. We continued our meal and he came back about ten minutes later with another beer. The entrees included a "Power Bowl" with shrimp, burger with "unlimited fries" (no seconds were ever offered) and lemon pepper hot wings. All were served promptly, but only luke warm. I'd like to acknowledge that the service at this location has always been good, and this visit was no exception. My complaint after the last several visits is with the missed opportunity by their management at each point where they should have made an appearance and tried to save or improve the quality of the diner's experience. No offer was made to comp the buggy beer, which is not a fault of our server, it's likely because they have been instructed to offer a replacement food or beverage only. My rewards participation seems mostly to be a waste of time now, since the program does little to entice the participant to return on a regular basis (which is kinda the point of these programs). The menu shrunk during the era of "The Crud", and remains reduced and uninspiring. The Power Bowl was an odd mishmash of flavors with a colorful attempt to add some flavor to a diverse collection of small piles of bagged veggie concoctions on a plate...The addition of a small handful sauteed salad shrimp brought the price or the Power Bowl to nearly $20...JoeFlation continued into the wings and burger plate, as the "unlimited fries" serving was small, the burger patty was small and no attempt was made to offer seconds on fries during the meal. We ordered the monkey bread Pazookie with vanilla ice cream for dessert, which came out promptly as well, and like the rest of the meal it was less enticing than Pazookies of years past... Dry and hard on with little to no glaze and a small scoop of ice cream on top. All in all a poor culinary experience with...

I was here last weekend with my twin and both our dates to have some drinks and hang out. Our waiter took a while to get there as it was kinda sorta busy we didn’t mind, but 20 minutes was kind of a stretch.. Anyway our server shows up and immediately offers us a menu item. We politely decline and and start asking about the drinks. She claimed to know the bar the best and that we could ask her anything. We asked a few questions and to all of them she recommended Modelo and recommended house drinks.

I thought it was strange so I ordered a double shot of crown and Dr.Pepper and our dates all got different drinks as well. Also some spinach dip and queso. She took maybe 20 more minutes to get us our drinks and instead of asking our order like most would she placed them and walked off without saying a word. (Odd) Maybe 10 minutes later she walked back over and asked if we knew what we wanted and it being everyone’s first time but I, my group asked simple questions and what she ate there. She almost instantly said some pasta dish with shrimp and someone asked about burgers and she again instantly replied with that pasta dish with shrimp. Being annoyed my twins date asked “What do you really eat here?” And she said something completely different. (Again odd)

My twin and her date both got burgers and my date and I both got wings. She kinda smirked at our choices and was being really short afterwards.

After another 30 minute wait (About an hour and a half in) we finished our appetizers and told her we didn’t feel good and the chips were oily and she kinda joked about it and just walked off telling us our food is almost done. She also walked off before my twin and her date got to tell her the house beers she recommended tasted bad and not like what she said they would taste like. While debating walking out and leaving cash for what we got, Someone shows up with our food and serves us.

The ladies ate small bites of the burgers and were immediately sick and got both burgers taken back. The waitress offered us the same pasta and shrimp dish as compensation for both burgers and they both politely declined and spent the rest of the date in the bathroom. WORST DATE EVER

Oh yea and after leaving a decent tip because I didn’t wanna be rude knowing the food wasn’t her fault, she said “Thanks” in...

I recently dined at BJ's Brewhouse in Southlake, and I am pleased to share my fantastic experience. As always, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exemplary, making for an enjoyable visit. For my meal, I chose the chicken sandwich and requested that it be tossed in buffalo sauce, which wasn't listed as an option on the menu. The staff was more than accommodating and kindly obliged, creating a mouthwatering, customized meal just for me. The sandwich was a perfect balance of tender chicken and tangy buffalo sauce, making it a memorable and satisfying dish. To complement my sandwich, I opted for a side of fries. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just as great fries should be. They provided the ideal accompaniment to my buffalo chicken sandwich, rounding out a truly delicious meal. BJ's Brewhouse in Southlake continues to impress with its scrumptious food and excellent service. The staff's willingness to accommodate special requests demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend BJ's Brewhouse for anyone in the Southlake area seeking a delectable dining experience.

Never order steaks at BJ's on a busy weekday. We should have left when we saw it was so busy for a Wednesday night, but I decided to wait. I normally order the pork chop, but the waitress came back later and said they ran out. She suggested the ribeye. So I said ok and ordered the ribeye medium for the first time here. My wife ordered the filet mignon medium. When our steaks came out, we cut it in the middle. Both steaks were rare and a little burnt on top. We ask the waitress to be sent back. At most steakhouse, they would cook you a new steak. The waitress asked if we wanted the steak cooked more. We agreed, and that was our second mistake. Later, my ribeye came out medium, but the outside was so burnt steak. We both did not send it back because we were hungry. I tried eating the steak, but I had to cut the burnt bitter outside and ate what was left. My wife's filet mignon was well done, so it was tough to eat. The middle was medium well, which was ok for her to eat. The burnt and overcooked pieces were made up half the steak. I still left a 20% tip, but I will never order steaks at BJ's ever again.

We arrived around 1:30 and the restaurant was at about 60% capacity. The server was very friendly however, spent 10 minutes in the kitchen for every 3 on the floor. We had over an hour to figure this out during the hour and ten minutes it took to get 2 hamburgers and two pizzas. During this time, we sent back drinks for lipstick (a lot) on the beer glass (wasn’t my father-in-law’s color) and typically waited 20 minutes for a drink refill. At least she didn’t charge for the lipstick beer. When the food arrived, every single dish was cold. The deep dish pizza (pictured) was so cold you could hold the pan in your hand. The burgers had been sitting for at least 15-20 minutes (at least put them under a heat lamp!). Separate from the incredibly long wait, the deep dish pizza was the equivalent of a loaf of bread with a couple ingredients sprinkled on top. If you like cold pizza crust, this place is for you!
